Best Whale Watching Tour! We Met Barnacle, Sasha & Her Calf! - We had an amazing time on our whale watching tour in Juneau! Our captain, Justin, did a fantastic job navigating the waters and making sure we found the whales. He really knew where to look, and it made the whole experience exciting. Our naturalists, Kacie and Geneviere, were outstanding, super knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the whales. They helped us understand what we were seeing and even identified the whales by name, which made it feel so personal. We were lucky enough to spot Barnacle, and later we found Sasha and her calf, Chacha, absolutely unforgettable moments. This was such a special experience, and the crew made it even better. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Juneau!

A good morning spoiled - This is an expensive trip, $500NZ for both of us. The boat was comfortable and seemed well maintained. No life jackets were handed out which wouldn't have happened in NZ however there were life jackets under the seats and these were pointed out. We saw one reluctant whale and calf and a handful of seals. Will the naturalist was well-informed and entertaining 10 points for Will. The captain and crew were also friendly and competent, it was a good trip except for the elderly American woman sitting behind us who talked loudly through Wills talk and then complained she couldn't hear. After spending that amount of money for 3 hours I was not happy to hear them ask for tips- here's a tip, be good to your mother and be careful who you vote for. The gloss was taken off the trip when the aforementioned elderly lady who had previously got on the bus, got off the bus, walked to the boat, got on and off the boat was suddenly so infirm that she had to have our front row seats in the bus and we were ordered to move by the officious driver. Needless to say he didn't get a tip either. He had previous told us that he was former US military so not surprising that he was a bully and an unpleasant man.
