Comfortable Bus Ride to the Glacier - Our bus ride to the glacier was great! The bus was comfortable and clean. Our bus driver was engaging & knowledgeable. As two young adults, the two hours allotted to spend at the glacier was enough time to hike to both Nugget Falls, the Mendenhall Glacier view point, and explore the visitor center.

Great way to go see the glacier - Super convenient way to see the glacier and falls from a cruise ship. Our driver Alicia was a Juneau native, charming, funny, and informative.

Very informative and entertaining bus ride - Alicia was our bus driver and tour guide and shared so much great information!! We had a blast. Highly recommend! We also got a discount booking directly at the dock site.

Great guide and great trip! - This was such a good trip. I booked the Mendenhall glacier express tour via Viator after the cruise line excursion was sold out. It was worth it for the ride, admission, and guide. Our guide, Alicia, an Alaskan native, was SO funny and so knowledgeable. She gave us great information on our trip to the park and back and had such a good eye for spotting wildlife including eagles everywhere and even a few bears. The bus was beautiful inside and clean. We had a great time, despite the rain, walking to nugget falls and the glacier view point and back. We had exactly two hours which was plenty of time and were given clear instructions and time to return by Alicia. Highly recommend !

This was a great value... - This was a great value and the perfect amount of time. My only slight negative that I would have changed was our driver…… nice and funny but I would have appreciated more history and info and less jokes and trying to sell his photos and albums….

Over-priced and Annoying - We were expecting some information regarding the Mendenhall Glacier and Juneau. Instead we were subjected to an endless series of bad jokes and awful puns from the driver who was a frustrated entertainer. After the return trip he circulated photos for sale for $10 each and mentioned his tip box multiple times. We left a $5 tip just to be nice but the driver did not seem to be impressed. They call this the blue bus but it is clearly different. Ticket prices were very high, like $87 each and you could only go at a set time and come back at a set time. Do yourself a favor and take a taxi or Uber there.

Spend $270 for a bus ride when a city bus would’ve cost $2 a person - Beware you’re literally paying for a ride to the glacier when you can ride the city bus for $2 a person. I paid for 2 adults and 2 kids ($270) to listen to a tour guide talk about himself the entire drive and try to sell his own music cds and photography.
