Unique Way to Experience a Special Place in Alaska - The Tracy Arm Fjord cruise was simple an awesome adventure! The Captain and crew were very, very knowledgeable about the geological and environmental aspects of the area. I learned so much. They made a little detour and took us to the North Sawyer glacier. They even fished out of the water a small chunk of iceberg for us to see and broke it up a bit to add to our drinks. They stopped along the way to view the humpback's feeding in the waters. Can’t forget seeing four flukes in succession diving under one after another. We were the only ones out in that stretch of water which made it very special and unique.

Top-notch way to see pristine beauty and be away from the tourists! - Magnificent experience. We were not on a cruise ship and did not want the typical tourist experience. The boat was spacious, clean and the all-female crew was top-notch. If anyone gets motion sickness, this was NOT an issue. We had perfectly flat water, and even if there had been some swells, it was like being on a large whale-watching boat. You could go up on the top deck or relax in the comfy seats on the main deck. Whales were plentiful and we just loved the peace and beauty!

Spectacular trip to the Tracy Arm - I went to the Tracy Arm a few days and it was one of the best trips I have ever experienced there. Captain Dan was a most excellent navigator getting us through the increased ice in the arm after the landslide/tsunami 2 weeks prior. Maya was a most charming and well informed naturalist who educated us and entertained us. It was a spectacular day weather wise and we saw lots of humpback whales. The South Sawyer glacier was also doing some very active calving...more than I have seen in several years of going down there. A great trip indeed!

Well worth the money - We started out on a foggy, drizzly day, but within two hours lots of mountains and ice floes and green trees were clearly visible. The narration was excellent, as was the included lunch. No complaints!

Very good tour, the fjord... - Very good tour, the fjord is impressive and really worth the trip. Moreover we were the first ship to get there after to 100-foot tsunami that happened on 10 August

Highly recommend, worth it! - Def worth it! Even in the rain. We got to see lots of natures waterfalls due to the heavy precipitation. The vessel was very clean, new and comfortable inside. Restrooms were very usable and kept clean for all 7 hours. The naturalist on board was friendly, knowledgeable and provided lots of educational information along the way. Complementary coffee/tea/hot cocoa were greatly appreciated. The best beverage for our son was the Shirley Temple made with glacier ice the crew scooped up to make drinks with. Would def do this tour again.

Everything perfect! - They even scheduled the weather to be perfect! The captain and crew took advantage of everything they could; with good weather they went full speed ahead to Tracy Arm, we were able to spend plenty of time close to the glacier, and stop by a couple of waterfalls as well. When there was significant whale activity on the way back, the captain slowed way down so there was plenty of time to appreciate. The crew was knowledgeable, helpful, and helped put everyone in a good mood.

best part of our 14-day Ultimate Denali Cruise - We had an amazing time. Saw the icebergs, glaciers, and wildlife up close. We had a wonderful captain, with a sharp eye for wildlife, piloting the comfortable vessel close to wildlife (mountain goats, bears, and whales) and other features such as the glaciers, icebergs, and warerfalls. Our naturalist Maya was delightful. She had a youthful enthusiasm and was well informed and entertaining. Deck hand Ben was a champ. We actually had a cocktail with glacier ice! They went over and above to net the floating ice for our amusement. Best tour in our whole cruise/land package…so far. Tomorrow, we have our last tour.

One of the best glaciers to see in comfort with wonderful information. - The size of the boat was great. Very comfortable with optional outdoor viewing. The 3 crew were very knowledgeable and excited to share information but did so without constantly talking. They each had their expertise and let you know what to watch and observe the things that would be talked about throughout the tour. A definite must and worth the money to see this glacier, waterfalls and some animals.
