Kigali Genocide Memorial - The guide will meet the operator at Kigali International Airport or their hotel to provide a briefing about the tour. Before heading to Uganda, there will be an opportunity to explore Kigali city and visit significant sites such as the Genocide Memorial Center. Following the city tour, the journey continues with a 4-hour drive to Bwindi Forest National Park via Katuna (the Uganda-Rwanda border). After crossing Katuna, the route leads to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This trip offers a chance to admire the stunning countryside and landscapes of Rwanda and Uganda. Rwanda is known for its captivating rolling hills and plantations, while Uganda boasts lush green forests. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at Bweza Gorilla Lodge, located at the edge of Bwindi Forest National Park.

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest National Park and Transfer Back to Kigali

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Start the day early with breakfast before driving to the park entrance for a briefing and information session on gorilla tracking. A gorilla group will be assigned, and there is an option to hire a porter if needed.
Gorilla trekking can last from 30 minutes to 6 hours, depending on the location of the assigned gorilla family on that day. Once the gorillas are spotted, take as many photos as possible and adhere to the guides’ instructions. After the trek, return to the hotel to freshen up, have a meal or drink, and check out. Subsequently, the journey back to Kigali International Airport or the hotel in Kigali will commence.
