Yogyakarta, a journey into impeccable history: Ifran and Rich top! - We returned excited from the tour of the wonders of Yogyakarta! I have to give a special thanks to Ifran, our driver, who was simply exceptional: always very kind, punctual and with constant attention to our every need. We felt really pampered and safe throughout the day. We started with the grandeur of Borobudur, a breathtaking experience, and then a delicious lunch break in a traditional trattoria, where I could taste the authentic flavors of the place. The afternoon in Prambanan was the icing on the cake thanks to our guide, Ricco. What can I say, Ricco was very good and engaging! He made us travel through time telling us the stories behind every brick and every tower with incredible passion. Never boring, indeed, very funny! An experience that we will carry in our hearts and that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to discover the true essence of Yogyakarta. A truly superb team that we will remember with great affection!

Perfect day with our kind driver AG - We had a really good day! Especially thanks to our guide AG who was really friendly and helpful. We saw 3 temples and we had different stops, one in a really special coffee shop and then a tour in the different street of Jogja

All worth the money! - Great experience! AG was our private driver all day. He arranged the day to suit us, and we also ended up visiting some extra places along the way. We can only recommend driving with AG. He drives nicely and is also a pleasant and friendly person. With this experience you get a personal and flexible trip.

Great day of site-seeing in Yogyakarta. - This was a great all day tour of the Prambanan and Borobudur temples. We went during a holiday week in Java, so it was difficult to get Borobudur tickets to the top; only one of us was able to climb to the top. To make up for it the tour operator substituted a fun jeep trek to Merapi, so all good. Miko was our guide and he’s also a very skillful and safe driver.

A must-see trip from Yogyakarta - The view was awesome and surreal at the Borobudur, like a mountain of monument trying to reach the heaven. Prambana was also facinating. They have done a great job restoring at both sites, and more still needs to be done. We had a wonderful driver, Andi, who showed up ahead of schedule to pick us up, and patiently drove us to the 3 sites with background introductions. The whole trip took more than 9 hours because we took a lot of pictures.

Nature, Temples, Culture - Found Alya Tours when researching Yogyakarta Tours. Andi was extremely helpful in assisting us put together a 4 day, 3 night itinerary which was very well organised with a private car and driver and English speaking guide. Tour included Borobudur with climb, PrambananTemples with Ramayana Ballet, Mt Merapi Jeep Safari and Djien Plateau and other sites in Yogyakarta centre. Our guide Mr Fitron was very friendly and had vast knowledge of all the sites we visited. Our driver Ang-Ki was very pleasant. Both turned up when expected and all the arrangements were perfect. Thank you for making our trip very safe and enjoyable. Kalpna, Ranju and Umang.

Couldn't be better. - Booked the day before the visit. The driver was right on time. Booked outside pick-up area but close to Borobudur. Everything went smoothly. Driver was fantastic. Entrance tickets neatly reserved. The driver arranged everything, including Prambanan's visit. He also remained available for us in the evening. Nana, superman.

Great day! - Our private guide Coel was awesome and really nice. We got to see all that we wanted to see! We had originally booked it for a monday, but Andy was nice enough to let us switch our day to Sunday since Monday’s you can enter temples! Coel even picked us up at the airport at 7 am and dropped us at our hostel. If you’re thinking about visiting by yourself and booking your own tickets, I heavily suggest booking this tour. It’s not that much more expensive, it saves you a huge hassle and you make sure you can go up Borobudur temple!
