Yogyakarta temples experience - I had a fantastic experience on this excursion with Yuni, my guide and driver (I was alone). We left Yogyakarta at 3:30 a.m. and arrived at Borobudur before sunrise. The local guide then drove us to the temple, where we admired the site. Given the season and the current international situation, there were only ten of us (whereas the number of participants for sunrise viewing is usually limited to around one hundred). With Yuni, we then went to Mount Merapi, where a jeep driver took me to see the still-active volcano. We also visited a bunker and a museum (a house partially destroyed by lava). Finally, still with Yuni, we went to Prambanan, our last destination. Yuni told me the history of this place.

A great day at the Yogyakarta "must" sites - My 19yr old son and I are travelling through Indonesia and took a standard tour which helps covering in 1 day Borobudur, Mt. Merapi and Prambanan. What made the difference for us was, our guide and driver Haidar. Haidar took us to to all these spots with perfect timing, sharing with us his vast knowledge and in a great atmosphere. Borobudur and, especially the Prambanan complex, for which I recommend adding more time, are sites you don't want to miss. Mt. Merapi, you can't control the visibility conditions...especially during the wet season. Make sure to ask for the plastic coats cover, if your local guide (the one picked by Haidar was excellent) is going to take you to the river!

The trip covered all the... - The trip covered all the important tourist spots including sunrise in Borobudur. It was breathtaking. It was totally worth it to get up at 3am for the view. The driver (guide) Haidar is very professional and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Wonderful day through Temples and volcano - Congratulations to our exceptional guide Youss for making this excursion truly special! We had a wonderfully enriching day through temples and volcano, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The entire experience was well organized, and our driver was particularly attentive, always making sure to listen to our needs and preferences. The man that made Indonesia SO memorable! - Imam is amazing. Words don’t do justice to how special he made that day for me. He is genuinely a man who loves what he does, a heart of gold, he speaks perfect English, made me SO comfortable, and it felt like we are on a little exploration mission together. He was so flexible and truly went out of his way to make every moment special - I had some ideas in mind and he happily obliged!
He picked me up early, I had hired him for the day - ride was not shared.
We began with snack stops early in the morning, and then he took me to the viewpoint. Even was gracious enough to hike up with me and take pictures too!
The one thing I would like to call out is that I really wanted to go to a random local bateek shop and try my hand there instead of a touristy spot. As we were driving I spotted a place and asked him to negotiate for me. He was GRACIOUS and spoke to the owners, negotiated and got me a spot. I did that for 3 hours and for this entire time he waited for me patiently - he felt it was best he didn’t leave alone there, even though I had asked him to go around take a break do what he wants in that time. Truly a man of his words, honourable too.
I really don’t think my words are doing justice of how wonderful my time with Imam was.

Awesome day at Jogya - Amazing experience from start to finish. Imam was professional, very knowledgeable about the local history and culture, and explained everything clearly in excellent English. The itinerary was well-organized but still flexible, with thoughtful photo stops and food recommendations that suited our preferences. I am was punctual, friendly, and patient, always checking on our comfort and safety. Highly recommended and would happily book another tour with them.

Highlights of Java - We had a full day of fun. Yuni our excellent driver picked us up very early in the morning to see the Borbudur at sunrise and guided us excellently through the entire day with lots of adventures. The highlight for my little daughter was, when Yuni was talking about the deliciuos dragon fruits, he stop quickly over at a street vendor to get some of the famous fresh dragon fruits for her. Even though it was cloudy that day and we were not able to see the Merapi, the wild Jeep drives made our day. Thanks to Yuni, for such a smooth day packed with so much adventures

Amazing full day tour in Jogjakarta - Combined visit to Borobudur, Merapi volcano and Prambanan was well organized! Incredibly impressive temples and the adventurous experience at the Merapi volcano by jeep was also very nice. Driver Haidar picked us up early in the morning and brought us home at the end of the day. He also told us a lot about Yogyakarta and the history of the temples, very educational! Thanks
