Amazing day at Amboseli - Due to flight delays, we (luckily) ended up with a full day in Nairobi and decided to make the most of it. Our guide, Samuel, made the day truly special, and we were fortunate enough to see four of the Big Five. We had an amazing time and made memories that will last forever. Samuel’s knowledge and ability to spot wildlife were exceptional. Thank you for making it such a wonderful trip.

Amazing Experience - We had an absolutely incredible day tour of Amboseli National Park with our guide, Samuel. From the moment we met him, he was warm, friendly, and welcoming, instantly making us feel comfortable and excited for the day ahead. Samuel’s experience and knowledge truly made the tour unforgettable. He shared so many fascinating facts about the wildlife, and it seemed like he knew exactly where every animal would be. Thanks to him, we had amazing sightings and the best views throughout the entire trip. He went above and beyond to take great care of us—whether it was at bathroom stops, shops, or making sure we always had plenty of water. His driving skills were exceptional, especially on the rocky roads, and we felt completely safe the whole time. Samuel also got us back right on schedule, rounding off a perfect day. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide. If you’re considering a tour of Amboseli, we highly recommend asking for Samuel—he will make your experience truly memorable!

Joe - great guide - Amazing tour. Amboseli National Park is beautiful. The view of Kilimanjaro is breathtaking. You get to see many animals, we were also lucky to meet 4 lions. The nature is beautiful and so many species to see: zebras, elephants, flamingos, pelicans, jackals, hippo...Lunch was very delicious - plenty of options to choose from. Joe - my guide and driver was super friendly and helpful - I admired his patience since the ride was very long. I am so happy he was my companion for the day. I fully recommend this tour. Thanks Joe:-)

Driver was perfect - Although there was a mistake with the pickup location, we were grateful for the quick response. Our driver, Fuetus, was polite and cheerful without being overly friendly. His experience was extremely helpful in capturing the best shots of Kilimanjaro and the elephants. For a more luxurious trip, we recommend upgrading to a 4X4 Toyota vehicle and accommodation at Oilepo Amboseli Lodge.

Long but fun day to Amboseli - Our day trip to Amboseli was fun but be prepared for a long day. Our driver Mwose picked us up promptly at 5am and we made it back to the hotel around 7pm. Mwose did a great job of navigating both Nairobi traffic and some very challenging roads in the National Park. Mwose did his very best to make our trip memorable and gave us amble time to take pictures! We never felt rushed despite trying to see as much as we could in a day. He went out of his way to try and find the animals we wanted to see and because of his navigation we got to see all 3 of the big 5 that are in Amboseli. He never stopped looking for the lions and we ended our trip with finding 3 females, two big lions and one young one. It was an incredible way to end our Safari. The drive is long, but there were planned breaks along the way, one up for coffee/snacks/washroom/shopping, one lunch at a nice restaurant in the park, and one at the same stop on the way back. Everything was as advertised, with good communication from both the company and our driver. My only complaint would be that our safari vehicle was a van and lower to the ground than a regular 4x4 which probably made us feel the bumps of the difficult terrain more than a larger car. However, Mwose handled the car with expertise and was very cognizant of trying to minimize the impact of the bumpy road conditions. He was constantly checking in on us and taking breaks when needed. I would highly recommend Mwose and would hire him again for another trip.

Excellent tours and guide! - I did both the day trips to Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. I was lucky to have Samuel M. as my private tour guide for both days. He is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the land and animals in the parks. He went out of his way to make sure the tours went well, with regular rest breaks and plenty of stops for photo opportunities. Lake Nakuru was quieter than usual the day we went but I still got plenty of great photos. Amboseli was great too even though Mt. Kilimanjaro was obscured by clouds.

Excellent first half of our day at Amboseli and glad we did it! - What a lovely experience. So glad we did this even though it was a very long day. Our guide, Festus, was excellent for the entire first half of the day. He received a phone call that disturbed him very much and subsequent phone calls also seemed upsetting. This resulted in a rushed ending to our day and not at all like the first half. He was quite knowledgeable and friendly but we did not see as many animals as we expected for our one day. I just hope all is fine for him as he was very nice. I would highly recommend him if he had his problem resolved.

Great experience - It was a great experience. Our driver, Festus, was the best we could have ever had. I was very scared about the drive from Nairobi to the Amboseli Nationalparc, but Festus eased my fears and was the coolest and most skilled driver ever. Amboseli National Park is completely different from the Maasai Mara, but the number of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests you see there is simply breathtaking. For us personally, the drive was too long (thats ehy the 4 stars) and we wouldn’t do it again, but the experience was definitely worth it!
