Cultural exchange - The drive is about 2 hours you should eat breakfast and maybe bring a snack. But once you make it to the village the cultural experience is great. It was very intimate setting with you getting an up close to traditional living. Two high lights were watching my partner throw the spear, dressing in traditional clothing and traditional singing and dance. Suck a rich history of knowledge passed on.

Great day at the friendly Maasi village. - What a wonderful day! Alfred our Maasi host was informative and interesting and fascinating. great visit to see how the tribe lives. We met many members of the tribe including the elders and women and children. Learned spear throwing and bead making. Day to day routines around their simple domas. Just a spectacular half day. Highly recommend. Our tour guide/driver Tim was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and courteous.

Unique day trip to Maasai village south of Nairobi not far away from the border with Tanzania - Very interesting day trip to a Maasai village south of Nairobi near the border with Tanzania. Nice unique experience involving among other dances, goat milking, jewelry making. I learnt a lot about the history of Maasai and their way of life.

Unique experience - This was honestly such a cool experience! We went to a Maasai village and it felt real, not staged. The guide had us laughing the whole time. He’s a great storyteller, so you’re learning a lot but also cracking up. We dressed up in their traditional clothes, sang with them, danced… it really felt like a “live my life” moment but ten times better. I left with new memories and a huge smile. If you’re in the area, don’t overthink it just go. You’ll thank yourself later.

Day in the Life of……Maasai - It was the most amazing experience. This was much more detailed and longer than the short one I did in Tanzania. We actually experienced a day in the life of the Maasai. Our guide and driver were both great!

Memories of a lifetime - What started as an impromptu family travel ended up being the most memorable safari thanks to EPIC HORIZONS. A big shout out to our guide, Sam, his knowledge of wildlife and culture, safe driving, and friendliness made our experience more special. What an unforgettable experience...See you again in September!!

I think this tour is a bit of a scam - We did this tour last minute with couples. It cost $40 each person to get in but the tribe says 80% goes to their education which is great - it was interesting visiting the tribe and seeing how they live. It got very scammy when they took us to a massive “market” and wouldn’t let us leave without buying some souvenirs that were sun bleached and rusted. They literally charged the couple we were with $100 for these crappy beaded bracelets. We did negotiate with them and didn’t pay full price but we also tried to leave without buying anything Later we learned that the tribe is more like the mob and they have a lot of control of the park and are not making great decisions for the park. We found out the airstrip we were suppose to fly into wasn’t closed for maintenance as we were told but the tribes chiefs brother was demanding more money from the airlines that fly into it. Unfortunately this type of political power and greed from the tribe isn’t unusual we later found out. I guess if I would have known about the swindling at the end and the tribes attitude toward tourist and ripping them off I would have passed on this tour. I also am not sure how authentic the tour actually was now that I know more
