This tour provides a special chance to engage with Greece’s spiritual and natural legacy. Experience the enchantment of Meteora at midday and uncover the area’s history with insights from a local tour leader, as the sun casts a glow over this mystical site, giving the monasteries and rocks a dreamlike, ethereal appearance.
The journey begins at Kalambaka’s train station, following the train’s arrival around 1 PM. During this tour, participants will view all 6 monasteries, visit 3 of them, and pause at the most scenic spots to admire the view and capture stunning photographs.
Our small group tours offer the flexibility to explore the area optimally, steering clear of large groups or crowds.
The excursion concludes with a return to Kalampaka’s railway station.
