Its most famous feature is the great bronze statue of the Buddha at Kotoku-in Temple, standing at approximately 13 meters tall, which survived a 15th-century tsunami.
Yokohama city boasts an expansive Chinatown filled with a variety of Chinese eateries and marketplaces. It’s also home to the Sankei-en Garden, a botanical park showcasing historic Japanese dwellings from different time periods, and the coastal Minato Mirai district, where the towering 296m Landmark Tower is situated.
