Must do when in Santorini! - One of the highlights of our Santorini trip! We ended up with a private tour for only two of us and our tour guide was super nice, funny and engaging, driver was also very caring and attentive. We enjoyed all 3 locations and tasted 10 wines. Highly recommended!

Informative wine tour with great views - Booked the morning tour as this includes the museum. We were the only people on the tour so felt like a private tour. Guide & driver were great and the vineyards weren’t very far from Kamari. We preferred the wines at the first vineyard but the views from the last one were fantastic. Wines were great and the nibbles helped to soak up the alcohol. The museum is interesting if a bit strange. Very informative tour and no hard sell of wines which made a welcome change.

Rude Driver, Dismissive Guide, Poor Appetizers & Miniscule wine measures - We have been on numerous wine tasting/ tours in different countries around the world but our experience yesterday afternoon (2nd October) was by far the worst for a variety of reasons. Firstly, the driver arrived 15 minutes late (we accept it could have been because of traffic problems) but when he arrived we stood outside the bus for around 2 minutes before he opened the doors. We asked him 3 times if that was the wine tasting bus but he did not answer us until we were well underway. On the journey to his second pick up, the driver was having a heated/ animated argument with someone on his phone and his driving was quite inconsistent. Arriving at the second pick up he continued his conversation, leaving the Belgian couple waiting outside the bus for around 3 minutes. Both for them and for us, when we got on the bus, we asked if this was the wine tasting tour and he kept talking on the phone, answering us when we were already underway. Finally, he dropped us in the car park of Venetsanos winery saying that another bus load of people would be joining us. We waited almost 30 minutes for that bus to arrive whilst he continued his conversation on the bus. When the other bus arrived we mentioned our concerns to the group leader but she just said that it was the end of the season, the driver was probably tired and we should just accept the situation and enjoy the tour. Turning to the tour itself, Venetsanos was excellent for the people, quality of wine, presentation and snacks. The second winery, Koutsogiannopoulos was also good but the nibbles were a few crisps and bread rusks with a small slice of cheese, nothing like the appetizers that had been advertised. The final winery, Roussos, gave miniscule measures of wine which all the people in the group said were inadequate for tasting to be experienced properly and again the nibbles were poor. The group consisted visitors from England, USA, Belgium and Australia and it was quite clear that everyone felt we had been short changed and in our case (by the driver), badly treated. In our view, this tour was worth possibly 40 euros per person, not the 108 per person that we had been charged.
