DAY 1: KAMPALA TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

DAY 1: KAMPALA TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Kampala - The tour departs from Kampala at 7 am. It is highly recommended to arrive the day before, as the tour does not include an overnight stay in Kampala. The journey begins at 7 am on the first day at your hotel in Kampala (accommodation not included). Please ensure punctuality to meet your driver/guide at the hotel’s main entrance. A brief meeting will be held in the hotel reception area to discuss general and specific details of the trip before departing for Bwindi. Additional Notes: Assistance with booking pre- or post-tour accommodation is available to ensure timely departure on Day 1.

DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Begin the day with breakfast at 6:00 am, followed by a short drive to the park headquarters to meet your knowledgeable local guides. The guides will provide a briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette. The trekking group will then proceed into the forest to track the gorillas from where they were last seen. Porters are available for hire to carry personal items and assist during the trek if needed.
DAY 3: RETURN TO KAMPALA
Kampala - Depart early for Kampala, stopping after Mbarara at the Igongo Cultural Centre. Here, you can learn about the traditions of western Uganda and enjoy a traditional lunch. Arrive back in Kampala in the early evening, where the tour concludes upon arrival.
