Additionally, they can combine this with a Wildlife Adventure Safari in Murchison Falls National Park, offering close-up wildlife viewing from both a safari vehicle and a boat cruise on the Nile.

Murchison Falls National Park for a Morning Game Drive and a Boat Ride
Murchison Falls National Park - After breakfast, embark on a game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, one of the premier safari destinations with a vast array of wildlife species. During the game drive in the park’s northern sector, expect to see African elephants, Cape buffaloes, lions, bushbucks, Oribis, Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbucks, hartebeests, antelopes, and possibly leopards.
Nile Delta Cruises - Murchison Falls - After lunch, set out for a 2-hour launch cruise (boat safari) on the River Nile, departing from Paraa and heading upstream to the base of Murchison Falls. The boat ride offers numerous wildlife sightings, including crocodiles, hippos, and lizards. Large animals such as buffaloes, elephants, and antelopes can often be seen drinking and cooling off by the riverbanks, and with some luck, a leopard might be spotted resting in a nearby tree. Upon reaching the base of Murchison Falls, disembark for a 45-minute hike along the rocks adjacent to the falls, offering stunning views from various points along the trail. At the top, your tour guide will be waiting to drive you back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Journey from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale National Park
Kibale National Park - The drive to Kibale Forest is delightful, winding through Marrum roads that showcase traditional Uganda. Pass through villages where locals tend to crops like yams, tobacco, sorghum, beans, cassava, sweet potatoes, and maize, eventually reaching foreign green tea plantations near Fort Portal town. Fort Portal is a charming, well-planned town named after a fort built between 1891 and 1893 by Sir Gerald Portal. Enjoy lunch in Fort Portal Town and a city tour before continuing to Kibale Forest National Park.
Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
Kibale National Park - After breakfast, drive to Kanyanchu for registration, a short briefing, and allocation of the chimpanzee community to trek. Your ranger guide will lead you on the trek in search of these fascinating apes. Chimpanzees are the closest relatives to humans among the apes, and observing them in the wild is a delightful experience. Although the community consists of over 1,000 chimpanzees, about 120 are habituated and regularly visited by tourists, with the activity lasting one hour after locating them. While chimpanzees are the main attraction, other primates of interest in this forest include Black and White Colobus monkeys, L’Hoest Monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, Blue Monkeys, Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, bush babies, and pottos. Numerous birds, such as Grey-Throated Flycatchers, Masked & Black-Capped Apalis, Chestnut-Winged Starlings, Orange-Tufted & Tiny Sunbirds, along with butterflies and other forest flora and fauna, can also be seen and heard during the trek.
Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary - After lunch, explore Bigodi village in the afternoon. Visit a swamp teeming with butterflies, plants, animals, and spectacular birds like the Great Blue Turaco, which will captivate bird enthusiasts. Following this experience, take a village walk to learn about coffee production, banana beer making, basket weaving, and traditional healing. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
