So much fun! - My nighttime boda boda street food tour in Kampala was an absolute blast! The food markets were spectacular!
I got to try beef hoove soup, barbecued goat, rollex (an egg omelet wrapped in chapati), along with classic chicken and chips - crispy, flavorful, and perfectly satisfying.
A huge shout out to our awesome guide, Kennedy and his friend, who made the experience even better. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured we had a fun and safe adventure. Their passion for the local food scene made the night even more special.

Fantastic Evening In Real Kampala - This was an amazing night out. Know that you will be on a Boda Boda which I loved. And go with an empty tummy as there was loads of food. You go off the beaten track and eat where the locals eat. They were all so friendly and welcoming as was the guide. This is a great night out.

A fun evening out in Kampala - I had a great time eating food and drinking beer with Kennedy. He’s a fun interesting guy and the hoof stew was the best food I ate on the whole 2 week trip. Would definitely do this again!

Adventure on wheels - I would highly recommend this tour if you are interested in seeing wha t locals eat. On this your you also get a good glance at what it’s like in Uganda after dark. The street food vendors and the markets places that stay open after hours to feed everyone. My man Kennedy did a great job show us around. He made sure we got to eat like the locals. We had BBQ’ed goat leg which hubby loved, we had Goat Kidney, Beef knee cap soup, liver, the all too famous Rolex and chicken and fries. We started off at a cattle market then we zoomed around the city on the back of boda bodas hitting up different places. Kennedy had a lot of knowledge an answered all questions that we had. If you go on this tour ask for Kennedy, you’ll have blast.

Inquire about street food in Kampala using boda boda - if you want to get around Kampala authentically like a local, then a boda boda (motorbike taxi) is a suitable means. It is not without risk because the traffic is very chaotic, but an unforgettable experience !
The main focus of this excursion is street food, beyond tourist restaurants. Not only is the tasting of local specialties (a certain spirit of adventure is required) interesting, but it is certainly worth the look behind the scenes.
My guide knew his way around and was able to explain a lot about the food behaviour of the Kampala women.
A tip: combine this excursion with a walking tour of the city. Then many aspects of City Life were covered.

Worth the time and money! - I had a wonderful experience. Getting an opportunity to explore the many streets food of Kampala was amazing. My tour guide, Kennedy, was very knowledgeable and friendly. I also enjoyed the thrill of the boda boda rides. I definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to get a taste (literally) of the Uganda culture.

Not to be missed!!! - Fantastic tour. Kennedy and Paul are outstanding. They go above and beyond (I won’t be able to eat again for days!!). We only had a short time in Kampala and this was the perfect experience - great food, authentic boda boda experience, and lots of local insights and explanations. Kennedy made sure we got to try everything. I can’t recommend it highly enough. These guys are really fantastic!!!
