Great first safari experience - Frank was a superb guide trying to make the best opportunities for us in the limited time we had. He was a great driver in what is (to us) a very chaotic driving environment and the recommendations he made to our schedule based on the needs of everyone in the group were spot on. We really enjoyed our small boat tour which turned out to be more conducive to our interests. I think Frank did every thing he could to make the most of our short time there. His depth of knowledge and natural enthusiasm were a wonderful combination contributing to our adventure. I would highly recommend Frank any time. On the chimpanzee walk, Frank lent me his binoculars that were suspended on a harness that was so much more comfortable than the strap around the neck. When I got home I ordered one for myself and two others for some birder friends. I know they will also be grateful for this improvement to carry binoculars.

Amazing Safari - 3 of us went on a trip from entebbe and back to Kampala. The organisation was great . We added the Rhino Sanctuary to the trip as well . Staying at pakuba lodge, choosing Simba and having Frank as our driver were all just brillant choices . Frank was tireless in his enthusiasm and knowledge sharing . We did some long days but it was worth it . I reckon we did more time exploring in our short time than some people do in a week and Franks ability to spot things was amazing . We saw more than we expected to see ,have some wonderful memories and pictures that will stay with us forever . Just amazing and although it was a long drive north spending time on the road got us to see some real uganda 🇺🇬 and find out more about people and traditions

Amazing safari tour with Simba African Expeditions. - What a wonderful experience from start to finish. Moses, Patricia and our driver Frank were very professional and Frank so knowledgeable. He took care of everything we needed and the Pakuba Lodge where we stayed was right on the Nile. We took loads of photos and Frank went above and beyond driving us through the grasslands to find wildlife. Murchison Falls is a beautiful area, the boat trip and seeing the falls are spectacular but be amazed by seeing giraffes, leopard, lions, elephants, warthog, water buffalo, Jackson heartbeast, kobs and more. As an extra we visited the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which is a must alongside this fabulous 3 day tour.

Amazing Safari! - Simba safaris were amazing. They were very accommodating and did their best to ensure we saw as many animals as possible. Our guide, Tony, was extremely knowledgeable about every animal we saw and answered all of our questions. You can tell he truly enjoys his job! Their vehicles were new and spacious. Definitely would recommend this company for your safari needs.

Drive of Dreams - Great time in a Land Cruiser, with a great guide, seeing Murchison’s beautiful residents! Loved the game drives, and getting to encounter elephants, giraffes, lions, hyenas, water buffalo, baboons, hartebeests, waterbucks, and more! Sightings of hippos and elephants from the river cruise as well. Budget lodging was very nice and the only thing worth upgrading for would be a pool for hot dry days. My guide, George, was very accommodating, and made the travel to and from Murchison comfortable and enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable and makes for a great acquaintance for the adventure. Definitely recommend!

Lucky lucky lucky! Thanks, Patrick! - Patrick was the best! Had a wonderful time on our safari adventure! We got SO lucky to see all we did. So thankful for these memories. Patrick did a great job tracking animal footprints, educating us on animals, and allowing us plenty of time to take all the pics we wanted before heading on. We did the mid-range safari and stayed at Pakuba Safari Lodge. So glad we did! It was so close to the action! Our boat cruise went long (about 3 hours) and didn’t leave much time for an evening game drive, so we hung out around the lodge and went for a swim. Thankfully, we were able to catch most animals before the boat ride!

Authentic Ugandan safari - The guide told us a lot about the history and culture of Uganda which was very interesting and informative. The staff in the lodge was super friendly and took great care of us. All in all we had a great time and we’re surrounded by very kind people and got to see a lot of animals (including leopard)

Amazing experience! - I was in Uganda for a month for a different reason and decided spontaneously to go on a 3 day safari to Murchison Falls in my last days here. Since I was a girl travelling alone and also on a student budget I was a bit weary at first but I am so, so glad I decided to go in the end! The national park seemed like a different world, so calm and picturesque, and even on my mere three days there we managed to see all of the big five (even two lion cubs) and many many others. Encountering a herd of elephants is something I will never forget, - all of it was an experience I will treasure forever! What was also special about this safari was that the trip to the Rhino sanctuary was already included in the itinerary, which is something you shouldn’t miss out on! The lodge I stayed in (Heritage Lodge) was also very cozy and much nicer than I had expected for a budget/mid-range option. And of course I can't thank my driver Patrick enough, who was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and dependable and made me feel comfortable during the trip while also being great company! I can warmly recommend him! The communication with the company was easy, I was contacted shortly after booking and even though the trip was originally for a minimum of 2 people, it was no problem to do a solo trip instead and also to book on short notice, since I decided I wanted to go for a safari only 2 days before the departure date. All in all it really was the perfect end of my stay in Uganda and I can't recommend Simba Africa Expeditions and also Patrick highly enough!

Amazing views of the big five and other wildlife. - Three amazing game drives. We saw all of the big 5, including rhinos at the rhino sanctuary. Our driver Ashraf was good at explaining the birds and animals we were seeing. Also did boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls. Stayed at Pakuba Safari Lodge. Close to the beginning of the game drives.

Great tour and guide - This is a short but comprehensive tour. Frank was a great guide. He suggested a private boat tour and we requested a night game drive which he happily arranged. Both were additional but reasonably priced and well worth the extra cost. The only problems were the broken air conditioner in the vehicle (you NEED air conditioning on the 5 hour, dusty drive from Kampala) and the menu at the mid priced lodge, which did not provide a seafood or vegetarian option even though I was told they would. We also missed lunch the first day because of a lengthy wait at the park entrance. No one’s fault but it would have been nice to have a sandwich or fruit upon arrival. The location of the lodge is lovely and the servers couldn’t be more helpful. Hot water was a problem but that’s true throughout the country. Patricia checked on us to make sure all was going well and communication during booking was great. I can certainly recommend Simba Tours!
