Unforgettable Safari Experience – 5 Stars All the Way! - We were a group of four friends, and this 5-day safari with Home to Africa was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we were picked up in Entebbe, every detail was well-organized and seamless. The team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, safe, and always having fun. Each day brought new adventures – horseback riding with zebras and giraffes in Lake Mburo, chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu Forest, spotting tree-climbing lions in Ishasha, and the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi. The landscapes were breathtaking, the wildlife encounters were magical, and the memories we made will last a lifetime. Special thanks to our guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made every moment feel personalized. The accommodations were cozy and authentic, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the trip. Highly recommend Home to Africa if you're looking for an authentic, budget-friendly, and adventure-filled safari in Uganda. Truly the trip of a lifetime – we laughed, we explored, and we bonded like never before!

Our guide, Derrick, was well above our expectations always being very attentive and with the best disposition. We saw a lot of great animals, the tracking was perfect and the trip entertaining and didactic. I recommend it 100%!

Excellent tour operator - Everything perfect, our guide/driver, Derrick, very good. The Lodges, in their simplicity, one better than the other, with very kind staff and impeccable service. We discovered an incredible country, little considered, but absolutely worthy of more travel.

Best Safari ever… cannot wait to come back and do more… fantastic choices and accomodation, and best guide… - Most wonderful 5 days in Uganda; we cannot wait to come back, it really is the Pearl of Africa. Our time was as enjoyable and memorable as a result of our beautiful and knowledgeable tour guide (Derek/Wadria). The safari vehicle was comfortable, and reliable, we never broke down or blew a tyre. The lodges that the company chose were very ethically conscious of supporting the community and made us feel positive that we were contributing. The introduction to the programs they are running was amazing, and particularly life changing for us was Ride 4 a Woman. Our guides we said was amazing - we very strongly recommend you ask for Wadria/Derek. So patient and considerate, if you go to take a photo he will slow down, pull over, amazing… Professional photographer, took most amazing photos of us, funny, great choice in regards to music, beautiful values and respectful to women. Went out of his way to be able accommodate iur specific interests in which animals and did his very best to ensure we saw them. He even turned around and allowed us to go back into the park and preserved until we saw our wish to see the lions in the trees, amazing. Loved to engage in conversation, and interested to learn of our culture and lifestyle. He made the journey so comfortable, and accomodating to our needs and interests. Fantastic driver, we felt safe at all times and enjoyed the free ‘African massage’. Great respect shown to him from other guides and lodge owners/managers.

Incredible experience, amazing guide - We absolutely loved our tour with Home to Africa and our guide William. We did a six day tour, finishing with the gorilla trekking, and what a way to finish. William our guide was extremely knowledgeable and always made sure we got the absolute most out of our tour and safari experiences. We love trying the local foods and William made several stops along the way and got us some to taste. We booked the budget tour but the accommodations for us felt luxurious, they were all really clean and comfortable with a generous amount of food, the staff treated us really well too. I can't speak highly enough of our tour and guide William, we didn't want it to end.
