Entebbe International Airport to Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park - Upon arrival, a professional tour guide will warmly welcome the group and provide a comprehensive briefing about the journey ahead to the stunning Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s most beautiful protected area. Located approximately 300 kilometers north of Kampala, the route passes through the renowned Luwero Triangle, with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, followed by lunch at Kabalega Dinners. The journey continues through the Kichombanyobo Gate into the park, leading to the breathtaking falls. Here, visitors can admire the powerful Nile as it is channeled through a seven-meter gorge, cascading 45 meters below in a series of spectacular waterfalls, viewable from various vantage points. Dinner and overnight accommodations are provided.

Game Drive – Boat Cruise

Murchison Falls National Park - Following an early breakfast, the group will drive to the ferry crossing the Nile to the park’s northern sector, embarking on a game drive towards the Delta area. This adventure offers the chance to spot wildlife such as the Rothschild Giraffe, elephants, Jackson’s Hartebeest, lions, warthogs, kobs, jackals, oribis, waterbucks, patas monkeys, and leopards, among others. A variety of savannah woodland birds can also be observed. After returning to the lodge for relaxation and lunch, the group will set out at 2:00 pm for a boat cruise on the Nile. This provides an opportunity for close-up game viewing as animals gather at the riverbanks to cool off. Expect to see numerous hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and a diverse array of water birds. After approximately three hours, the group will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight accommodations.
