Highlights include a visit to Asano Taiko, a globally acclaimed drum maker with a 400-year legacy. Participants will witness masterful craftsmanship, enjoy a professional performance, and have the opportunity to try taiko drumming themselves. These traditions have roots in samurai armor leatherwork and are represented today by Kanazawa Station’s Tsuzumi Gate.
The tour concludes with a meal at a refurbished sake brewery, complemented by local sake such as Kaga no Kikuzake, which was once savored by feudal lords during cherry blossom festivities.
This tour is perfect for travelers interested in gaining a deeper insight into Kanazawa’s culture and history.
