Amazing - Don’t know where to start, what a amazing experience, our tour guide oom was fantastic the knowledge he had was 2nd to none, he explained everything brilliantly and was such a nice man too, there was only four of us on the tour so he had time to explain everything and answer questions, the tour itself was a wonderful experience and heartbreaking at the same time, would definitely recommend

River Kwai and Death Railway train ride - Overall, the trip was a fabulous one. First need to thank Rachan, the guide. He is very good. His knowledge on the JEATH war museum, Death Railway and the HellFire is very good. He fille me in on a lot of history. Next, Rachan was very helpful in explaining what to expect from the train ride. For example he was able to articulate the cliff is on the right side while the river would be on the left. This gave me a good idea of what to expect when it comes to photo taking. Finally, he brought me to the cave and explained the cave at the end of the train ride. Also wanted to thanks King our driver who navigate is through the bad jam in Sukhumvit. Thank you.

We did a personal tour... - We did a personal tour for 6 and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with all of needs. Particularly when one of our crew was feeling sick. We could not speak highly enough of the house or driver.

There are no words to adequately describe this experience - Emotive, sobering, informative, with an excellent guide who managed to keep a necessary timetable without compromising our ability and the time to see and understand the enormity of, not only the achievement, in actually building the bridge, but in the sacrifice of human life.

On time hotel pickup.... - On time hotel pickup. Traveling on both boat and train in one day. Lunch over looking beautiful river. Should have more time on the bridge to take pics and a bigger van to fit 9 big adults.

Good day trip but a bit too long in a bus - The tour was interesting and taught us some things about the prisoner of war experience in Thailand and the building of the railway under extreme conditions and abuse. The guide (Rach) was very informative and eager to help. The tour included stops at: - the commonwealth war graves cemetery (20 mins) - JEATH Museum - this was small and had a couple of interesting exhibits but is not well maintained - Long tail boat ride to the bridge on the river Kwai - better than the bus and a good viewpoint for the bridge and some other sights - Walk along the bridge - 70km train ride along the railway that the prisoners built - great scenery - walk along a mountain section of the railway - the highlight for me - Buffet lunch - very nice! Overall a bit more in the way of exhibits would be useful, the main negative was the amount of travel from Bangkok which was 1.5 hours there but 3.5 hours back (apparently this is better at the weekend).

A great day tour to see the key sites - A great tour - saw all the sites I wanted to see. The war cemetery, the museums, a walk over and then a train ride over the Bridge, plus lunch and a walk along the line. All very moving. My guide Omm knew his stuff and answered all my questions, our private car was very comfortable. I would have preferred a later departure time, I booked for 0700 but had to depart the hotel at 0640. That may not seem significant but it meant I couldn’t have breakfast in my hotel. I asked to leave at the advertised time of 0700 but was told it was 0640 or I would have to cancel. I felt the tour could have been done in a different order to accommodate my preferred time.
