- JEATH War Museum - Explore the JEATH War Museum, which is divided into two sections. One section illustrates the construction of the Death Railway, recreating the living quarters of Allied POWs. The other section features reconstructed bamboo huts displaying paintings, drawings, photos by and of former prisoners, as well as weapons, tools, and maps.
- River Kwai - Enjoy a train ride along the Kwai River on the historic route, passing through stunning landscapes and the somber Death Railway, named for the significant loss of life during its construction.
- Krasae Cave - Delight in a Thai lunch buffet at a local restaurant. Following lunch, visit the Death Railway. It is estimated that out of over 60,000 POWs forced to work on the Death Railway, 13,000 perished, along with up to 90,000 Southeast Asian civilian laborers. Survivors faced harsh living and working conditions, including a humid, disease-prone climate, food shortages, lack of medical care, and the daunting task of construction on unforgiving terrain with primitive tools. Additionally, they endured severe violence and torture from Japanese and Korean soldiers overseeing the construction. The Death Railway was completed in October 1943.
- Kanchanaburi War Cemetery - Known as the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, this site holds the remains of 6,982 Australian, Dutch, and British war prisoners who died during the construction of the Death Railway. After visiting, the return journey to Hua Hin will commence.

Very long drive, but... - Very long drive, but definitely worth the trip. Exciting to see the bridge over the river Kwai, the cruise on the river and not least the train ride on the Death Railway. And then we had a really good guide.

Trip to the Bridge Over The Kwai - An emotional trip that shows you the real story of the Bridge over the River Kwai. The guide and the driver were excellent and though it was a long day from our hotel it was 100% worth the experience

Bridge on the river Kwai. - Long drive to Kwai (3hrs) so a long day out but well worth it. Museums were dated but some excellent artifacts. Lunch was excellent and in a great location overlooking the river. We opted for the 1hr train journey when ended by crossing the famous bridge. Also visited two war cemetaries that were immaculately kept by the War Graves Commision. Very sobering to see age at which so many lives ended. Most were in their early 20's.

Exciting and touching - Exciting and moving experience with a group of 6 people. Long drive, but alternating with boat and train. Very good lunch. The guide spoke poorly English, would like to have had more information.

Anytime again - I have almost nothing to complain about. Would have liked more time at the bridge. would have been nice if it hadn't been so crowded.

Very nice, but quite a long day - If you have mobility issues I do not recommend this trip. There’s a long step down into the long boat and after the ride there’s a huge step up onto the dock with a very narrow unsafe step to get out. If you need a cane or other aid it will next to impossible to get out of that boat.
The trip itself was quite nice. The place we stopped for food before the train ride was delicious! The train ride thru the countryside was very enjoyable. The cemetery was sad and somber as we expected. We all know this history but it’s quite different when you’re standing right there. Museum was disappointing I just expected a lot more I guess but it was still nice to see. Bridge site was great- hard to imagine what went on here. Our guide could have been a lot more engaging, for example provide some historical facts of the places we visited

Far too much time in a minibus - Initially booked the 2 day trip to ensure we saw everything. Sadly, this was cancelled by the tour operator, but we were offered the 1 day instead. I really wish we hadn't bothered and just done a trip ourselves from Bangkok. Total amount of time sat in a minibus was 7 1/4 hours (3 hours there, 3.5 hours back and 45 minutes from one place to another). We had just 3 hours out of the minibus to eat, visit Chong Kai war cemetary (very moving) have a boat ride, a train ride, a look around Jeath war museum (not very good) a quick walk along the 'bridge' over the river kwai which looks brand new due to being repainted and finally a quick walk along the Death Railway and it's 'cave'.
A very expensive trip that could have been so much better.
Notes for the tour operator - with the new skywalk being open, the Kancanaburi War Cemetery and nearby museum and Hellfire pass all close by, this tour could be so much better!
Such a shame that through no fault of ours what we were offered was not as good as expected.
However, I cannot fault our guide and driver who were excellent.
