Perfect Kandy tour with tuktuk! - We had a wonderful day with Lasantha. He picked us up in our hotel with a contagious smile and made our only day in Kandy very memorable. He is a very safe driver and has a lot of knowledge. He showed us some places that we didn’t even think about visiting. We enjoyed every part of the tour. Thank you Lasantha! We hope to see you again! :)

Fantastic Tuk Tuk Tour Around Kandy with Lasantha - If you're visiting Kandy and want to explore by tuk tuk, I highly recommend Lasantha.
We started the day at 8:30 in the morning, which worked out really well as it gave us plenty of time to see different places without rushing. Lasantha was reliable, honest and very knowledgeable about the area. What I appreciated most was that he customised the trip based on the places I was interested in rather than following a fixed route.
Because of his local knowledge, he brought me to several spots I probably would not have discovered on my own, and it saved me a lot of time trying to figure out where to go. Along the way he also shared interesting bits of history about the places we visited, but in a relaxed way that didn’t feel overwhelming.
I genuinely had a really enjoyable time exploring Kandy with him. Lasantha is friendly, trustworthy and clearly cares about giving his guests a good experience. If you want an easy and stress-free way to see more of Kandy, I would definitely recommend booking a trip with him.

Great way to see Kandy and surrounds - We really enjoyed our day tour with Lasantha. We visited beautiful temples, the tea factory, the spice garden and had lunch at a lovely restaurant. Lasantha adjusted the tour as we requested and had a wealth of knowledge about the area. It was fantastic to get out of the busy city and into the countryside. He was friendly, kind and a safe driver. We would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour with individual touch - The tour was really great! Lasantha drove us out of town and showed us quiet, beautiful places in the area. He adapts the tour to individual wishes and he also does not drive you to the scam places such as the jewelry museums and spice farms. He speaks great English and is just nice and friendly in his whole way. Really highly recommended!

Best way to see everything - What a fantastic day. My driver Lasantha was very sweet and so helpful all day. He was very informative in everything we did see. He spoke very good English. The highlights were the Botanical Gardens and the dance show. Thank you once more. Tina

Excellent tuk tuk tour with Lasantha in Kandy - Wonderful day with Lasantha. He picked us up at our hotel and then took us to two temples, the tea factory, the botanical gardens followed by a visit to the central market (at our request), the relic of the tooth exhibition and then finishing with a visit to the view point and tradition dancing at the arts centre. Really good day, would definitely recommend.

Yep, this is the tour you want to take. - Consider this your cue to stop laboring over which Kandy tour to do, and close all your open TripAdvisor tabs. Normally I’m skeptical of 5.0 ratings, especially at this price. However, Lasantha is deserving of a 6.0 rating. You will not find greater value, kindness, or flexibility from a tour guide. We had a few ‘swaps’ to our itinerary we wanted to do - he was super accommodating for both - and took us to a fantastic local restaurant where only locals ate, at our request. He was super aware of making sure we made it to the show on time, yet not pushy, never making us feel rushed. For the price, truly unmatched service. Thank you, Lasantha!

Thanks for an amazing overview of Kandy - We really enjoyed our time with Lasantha! We had limited time in Kandy so wanted to get an insider’s perspective of Kandy and Lasantha gave us an exceptional experience! He was always smiling, friendly and engaging!
We visited many temples and shrines (some with huge historical significance) and even went to a tea factory place where I tried some of the best white tea I’ve ever had! Lasantha also took us to a lovely lunch place with some of the best devilled fish I’ve had in Sri Lanka!
If there are some things you want to skip, you’re
able to tailor the tour to what you want to see - for example, I get headaches at botanical gardens so I skipped that and was able to replace it / stay longer at sights I wanted.
We also managed to see the tooth relic temple in Kandy on a key date so got to see so many locals milling about!

A day trip in Kandy - Friendly guide with good driving skills, we saw some interesting spots in Kandy, we had a good day! Definitely worth the price.
