Meet with a local trekking guide and head to the base of Sibayak. Begin the 1.5-hour trek to the top. Explore the volcano’s peak, including ash spread sources and constantly boiling sulfur water. Continue to the caldera, and finally reach the peak to enjoy the scenery if the weather is good. Rest, then trek down and drive back to Medan. Option to stop at Berastagi fruit market on the way back.
