Great satisfaction to see so many animals - A day trip from the Victoria Falls area.
Joined Chobe National Park safari in Botswana.
The driver/guide will complete the border clearance for all tour participants.
He was very kind to me.
At the border, the car had the words "KALAHARI forehand TOURS" written on it.
Get on TOYOTA LANDCRUISER (3 rows of seats for 3 people with a fish),
Snacks and toilet break -> Chobe river boat cruise -> Lunch ->
The schedule was safari in Chobe National Park → back to the border.
On the Chobe River, it's better than the Zambezi cruise I took the day before.
Seeing far too many animals, safaris in national parks
It was a very satisfying day to see animals at close range.

Great tour and amazing guide - The tour was fantastic. One of the highlights of our holiday. Our tour guide Moses was incredibly knowledgeable and spent time explaining to us everything we saw and experienced. His was super attentive and kind. Our whole experience was elevated by Moses and his deep knowledge and appreciation of the Chobe region and the animals. With the help of Moses we observed the different types of trees and birds and animals. We are seriously impressed and could not recommend him enough. Thank you ☺️ Moses

Chose NP - What a great day, first the boat cruise then the land safari. So close to the elephants you could smell their breath yet with Leo our guide we felt very safe. Elephants galore, hippos, a lion and so much more. Best day of our 16 Day Africa adventure

Jaw dropping (lots of hippo jaw dropping) - We went on a combination of land and water tours. Our guide, Six, knew the land and had a good sense of what was happening with the animals in the park. He also knew the best way to interact with the animals in a calm way that ensured both animals and humans were safe and happy. Highly recommend these tours.

Best thing ever, a must go. - This was a whole day tour, and it was amazing. I would def recommend this. It's a lot and a lot of border crossing, but it was so worth it. Six was our tour guide and he made the whole thing amazing. He made it all so fun, and the boat drive. The best thing ever.

Mind blowing! - Wonderful safari and boat cruises - we were blown away by how much wildlife we saw. Our guide, Six, was incredible. He seemed to know where to find the animals and was very keen to ensure we got the most out of our time on tours.
Highly recommended! Make sure you ask for Six!

Amazing land and water safari combo - I had the pleasure of taking a full day Chobe Tour with Kalahari Tours. Upon arriving at the basecamp, we were given a light breakfast of pastries, fruit and tea/coffee. Afterwards, we took a 3-hour boat safari on the Chobe River. I was not looking forward to the boat safari but by the end I was super excited that I gave it a chance. It was such a unique experience and a great way to see animals via water.
After the boat safari, we returned back to the basecamp and had a really nice lunch before starting our safari adventure on land. During the lunch I asked if there was a place outside of the basecamp to purchase souvenirs and was told to ask my driver, Sam, if he would stop along the roadside either to or from Chobe National Park with the permission of those in the jeep with me. Sam agreed to stop on our return and he gave us 10 minutes or so to shop.
During the afternoon game drive, we were able to see lions, hippos, buffalo, elephants, giraffes, crocs, and plenty of birds.
The trip was easy from Livingstone and worth every penny paid. Thanks Sam and all the others at Kalahari Tours.

Elephants galore - Would definitely recommend this Chobe Day trip. Saw so many animals, especially elephants. The guides were knowledgable. I booked the Chobe day trip with pickup to and from Vic Falls. The transfers went smoothly. Morning river boat tour and afternoon game drive. The boat had 2 decks, which was good to be able to get different viewing, as well as toilets. Good viewing on the game drive as well. Lunch was included and was plentiful and nice. Water/soft drinks were provided, which was good as it did get hot. Recommend the shop for souvenirs at the Cafe where we stopped for lunch. Be prepared for a big day out, and take sunscreen, and phone/camera. Very glad I did this day trip.

This tour is world class. - Kalahari Tours provided one of many highlights of a recent round the world cruise, with 29 ports where I and friends (up to 46 of us) did tours with local operators. In each port I read scores of reviews, to find the best tour operator, and Kalahari Tours is the one in Chobe. King George the third of Botswana was our guide, and he was exemplary, in his tenth year. We were five friends, one of whom is in a wheelchair ... that was handled flawlessly and with grace. Both the boat safari and 4x4 safari in the afternoon were no problem at all for the chair. Our wheelchair riding friend sat in the chair on the boat, and in the front seat of the 4x4, with the chair riding along in the back, as she goes nowhere without it.
This tour is world class, and tt was a phenomenal day. Chobe National Park, via a boat safari in the morning, and a 4x4 safari after lunch. We saw hundreds of elephants, and a great many other animals, same for a great many birds, and King George knew them all. Special kudos for the fabulous food at the included lunch at their Coffee Buzz restaurant. That is the wonderful HQ of Kalahari Tours, where we also had coffee and a cappuccino muffin breakfast, which was also good. Our transfers from and to Victoria Falls were handled well, and both drivers served as guides for the journey.
