Queen Elizabeth National Park - Situated on the floor of the Rift Valley with views of the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains, Queen Elizabeth National Park provides a diverse experience for safari enthusiasts. On the Kasenyi and Ishasha Plains, large herds of Uganda kob, the national antelope, remain vigilant against the lions that prey on them. Lakes Edward and George, along with the Kazinga Channel, are home to approximately 5,000 hippos and a plethora of waterbirds, and they attract thirsty elephant and buffalo herds. The operator will pick guests up from their hotel or designated location at 6:30 am to begin the journey to Queen Elizabeth NP.
Queen Elizabeth National Park - A stop will be made at the Uganda Equator for a photo opportunity.
Queen Elizabeth National Park - Upon arrival at the lodge, guests will check in, refresh, and later embark on an evening game drive, offering the chance to see animals such as elephants and warthogs. Guests will then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Game Drive and Boat Trip
Queen Elizabeth National Park - In the early morning at Queen Elizabeth National Park, the game drive allows guests to get close to wildlife when they are most active, and the landscapes are at their most stunning. Departure is at 6 am.
Kazinga Channel - Following the morning game drive, guests will enjoy a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, often leading to thrilling encounters with hippos, elephants, buffalo, and more. (2 hours) Later, guests will be transferred to Kampala, Acacia Villa Kampala (7 hours).
