Hike to Hermit Caves and Peak - This is a moderate to some challenging rocks
to climb, bring good traction shoes and be prepared to work out. Reaching the peak and the bell at top of mountain was well worth it. Evangelos our guide was excellent and knowledgeable visited the St George mantilla on way back as well as some clear shots of monasteries.

Amazing hike in Meteora. - Not an easy hike but definitely worth it. Our guide told us a lot about the region and the views were amazing. Worth doing. I recommend bringing good shoes and some water (1,5 liter).

Chris was an absolutely... - Chris was an absolutely amazing guide alongside his partner. Kept conversation the entire time in a way that greatly enhanced the experience. He is very knowledgeable about all the different places we went to during the hike including the history, geology, flora, fauna, culture, and more. He seemed to have a deep connection with the landscape with obvious passion for what he does. Very charismatic, friendly, and curious, while being considerate and respectful. Truly the highlight of my trip.

Meteors in hiking version - The meteors are naturally beautiful but very nice to discover them hiking and finish with a sunset. The guide is thoughtful and interesting. Make sure you have good shoes. We recommend!

A great way to see Meteora - We were the only people on our hike which was fabulous. Our guide was very knowledgable, we learnt lots of information about the area and experience parts of Meteora you wouldn’t if not hiking. It was a highlight of our holiday, would recommend.

Amazing hike with incredible views! - Chris was an excellent tour guide on our hike. He knew the history of the area as well as the plants along the way. He had hiking poles for us to use and guided us along areas where it required extra caution. The hike was moderate and met our needs. The hermit cave was incredible and the views from the top were amazing. If you want a moderate hike this well this was well worth it!

Hike and then enjoy the sunset - We did this tour in the afternoon (we did the hiking tour in the morning as well). We had a wonderful experience and our guide took time to explain the history of the area and gave us a lot of information about the region in general. The afternoon hike is a little bit more challenging than the one in the morning but definitely worth it.

BEST TOUR EVER - HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND - This was such an amazing tour and totally made top of my list for my time in Greece 😍 We booked the 5.30pm Sunset Tour, and despite it being stinking hot, the walk under the trees definitely made it feel cooler. Evan was an awesome guide - he answered all of our questions and gave us so much insight into the history of the area, the monasteries and the hermits. The hike itself was medium-hard. 90% of it was pretty easy walking (quite steep but good footing). 10% was more of a steep scramble /climb over rocks (hence the ‘hard’ part). I did it in sneakers but would have preferred hiking boots for some of the slipperier parts. The views are absolutely breathtaking and although you end up super high up on a cliff top at the end, the walk itself never felt too steep (we stopped for lots of water breaks and information breaks). If you are planning on doing this hike, you definitely need lots of water and a hat, and good grippy walking shoes. You should also be comfortable walking up stairs / climbing up over a few rocks - probably wouldn’t recommend this for those that are scared of heights. We had a small group (5) which was perfect, and we didn’t really see anyone on the way up (until the end where there are quite a few bus loads of tourists watching the sunset - although you can still find a space away from the big groups for good photo ops and to watch the sunset in peace). I couldn’t recommend this tour enough - and it was especially great to do it on our first night in Kastraki as it gave us a feel for the area and we could then do our own hikes around the monasteries the next day (using meteora trails.gr). Thanks Evan so so much for such an incredible experience!!

Great tour to see some of the other amazing things meteora has to offer - This tour was excellent. It was a good overview of the central area and you get to see some monasteries from a distance. The more in depth look at the less talked about caves and the chapel in the wall were very cool. And the sunset at the end was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. There are a lot of uphill climbs, so be prepared with enough water. Combined with a separate hike to see some of the monasteries up close, this feels like a very good way to see most of what Meteora has to offer. I was here just on an overnight trip, and I felt very satisfied with what I got to see and experience. The even more exceptional part was Chris, my tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and very fun to hike with. He certainly elevated the whole experience
