Relaxed, flexible, wonderful way to see Olympia! - My daughter and I opted for this half day tour because it was less structured than the excursion we had originally scheduled with the cruise line. After days of tours with larger groups, we were yearning to do something more flexible with less people. This fit the bill just perfectly. Andreas met us promptly at the pier and we found him to be most professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the area. He made sure we had his number and could reach him at any time if we needed anything at all. While driving between stops, he shared interesting facts regarding Olympia and answered our many questions. He took great care of us and customized the tour to meet our requests. If you're looking for a laid back way to see Olympia, I definitely recommend this tour!

Amazing tour of Olympia - Our Mediterranean cruise included a stop in Katakolon and while our knowledge of the area was limited, we decided to book a last minute tour. We’re so glad that we did because it turned out to be one of our favorite excursions of the trip! The Olympia Museum and Archeological Site were amazing, but it was the hospitality of Christos and Nassos that really made our day. They welcomed us like family and made sure that we had the best time even though we had some unseasonable rainy weather. Their communication was on point, the cars were comfortable and they were eager to impart their local knowledge from growing up in the area. In addition to historical Olympia, there is a beautiful town, local olive oil and honey farms plus beautiful beaches to discover and they were happy to customize an itinerary catered to us. Lunch at the family restaurant is not to be missed, best souvlaki and gyro ever! We can’t say enough good things about them, first-class company, just book your tour and you will not be disappointed!

Relaxing, informative, and fun - Christos was an excellent guide for our time in Katakolon, Ancient Olympia, the Olive Temple, and Vrinoitis Beach. Christos was very flexible and helpful in finding activities that worked for our group. We were given the option of having coffee and snacks or lunch in Olympia, but Christos gave us options for additional tours of olive mills and wineries. When we decided to go to the olive mill, Christos arranged us for a tour and lunch that has been one of the highlights of our trip. We finished our time with drinks and a swim at the Vrinoitis Resort. During our drive time, we had great conversation with Christos that educated us on the people of the region and Greece. Our time really highlighted the beauty and close-knit group of this community.

This is not Mt Olympus. - Driver (George) was friendly, informative, and on time. The restaurant he took us to was very good and reasonably priced. This part is my fault. I thought we were going to Mt. Olympus to hear about "Greek Gods" and legends, not to see more ruins in Olympia. I'm a history buff and even I got tired of looking at ruins for 8 excursions in Rome, Athens, Istanbul, etc.

The perfect tour - This was the perfect tour! We were brought to Olympia where our fantastic guide showed us where we needed to go and what we needed to do. It was the perfect mix of information and free time by ourselves. We saw everything, and the gyros were easily the best we’ve ever had. Our guide even brought us to his family’s shop and gave us a great deal on jewelry! If i could give it 10 stars, I absolutely would.

Wonderful Olympian Experience - The true experience for this tour begins on entering the ancient city of Olympia. We asked our tour operator, Nassos, to arrange a professional tour guide at the ancient site. This could not have been a better experience. Our guide, "Domi" (short for Dominica) was a "gift" on our trip. She was extremely well versed on this ancient site where the Olympic games originated and was thorough and interesting with her descriptions and antidotal stories of how this site developed, operated, as well as the ancient people who worked at this site, competed at this site, and those Greeks who were entertained at this site. We also toured the museum which honestly rivals the museum at the Acropolis. Afterwards, Domi took us to a local Taverna for a delicious lunch; again, truly and authentic Olympian experience. We were able to shop a bit and are having several local delicacies shipped home. Both Domi and Nassos were with us on the return to the cruise port. From beginning to end, this was a great experience.

Half day private tour from Katokolon to Olympia - If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Olympia, Greece, I highly recommend this excursion! Our driver, Nassus, made the day special with his warm hospitality, fascinating knowledge of the area, and personal touch. The scenic drive through the Peloponnese region was stunning, and Nassus’s local insights brought the history of ancient Olympia to life. A highlight of the day was when we stopped by Nassus’s own restaurant for a break. The food was delicious, fresh, and made with local ingredients, offering a perfect moment of relaxation. After exploring the ruins and the museum, Nassus even surprised us with a thoughtful gift, a bottle of local wine, making the experience feel even more personal and meaningful. This excursion wasn't just a tour, it was a chance to connect with the heart of Greece. Thank you, Nassus, for such a memorable day!

We had an absolutely... - We had an absolutely wonderful shore excursion with Nassos as our guide! As an Olympia native, he brought incredible local knowledge and insights that really enhanced our experience. Nassos was both friendly and professional throughout the tour, making everyone feel welcome and engaged. The excursion itself was excellent, well-organized, informative, and perfectly paced. My child was completely captivated the entire time, which is always a great sign! Nassos has a real talent for connecting with visitors of all ages and sharing his passion for the area. I would highly recommend this shore excursion to anyone visiting the port. The combination of Nassos's expertise, genuine enthusiasm, and local perspective made this one of the highlights of our trip. Five stars!
