• Agios Andreas - Our first stop is the highlight of Agios Andreas village, the ancient city of Elis in Pisatis, located on the isthmus connecting the Ichthys promontory (now Cape Katakolo) with the mainland.

• Leventochori - Our second stop is the village of Leventochori, a breathtaking beach destination where the lush green hills of Elian land meet the sea, forming a series of picturesque creeks with dark sand!

• Monastery of Skafidia - Our next stop is the Monastery of Panagia Skafidiotissa or Skafidia, built around the 10th century. It is located next to the clear blue waters of the Ionian, at the mouth of the river Lardanes. Visitors will be amazed by the medieval fortress that surrounds it from afar.

In addition to its stunning architecture, it houses many religious and historical treasures such as holy vessels, vestments, reliquaries, uniforms, weapons, icons, coins, votives, and the Monastery’s banner featuring a hand-embroidered icon dedicated to Theotokos.

• Skafidia Beach - Our next stop is the small village of Skafidia, the site of the ancient town of Dyspontium, one of the eight towns of Pisatis in ancient Elis. It was located in the plain between Elis and Olympia, north of the river Alpheus and close to the sea.

• Kourouta Beach - Our next stop is Kourouta Beach, the most cosmopolitan and Blue Flagged Beach of Ilia, with sands stretching over 16 km, washed by the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea, situated just 21 km (13 miles) from the port of Katakolon.

Alongside the golden sand and deep blue water of Kourouta Beach, the seafront is lined with numerous cafes, bars, restaurants, and Greek tavernas serving ouzo, fresh fish, and traditional dishes.

We pause for 60 minutes for swimming and relaxing on the sunbeds, where you can enjoy drinks, coffee, or food while taking in the sea view!
