Journey to Pokhara (1400 m)
Lakeside-6, Pokhara - Breakfast is served at 6:00 a.m. before heading to the tourist bus park in Thamel to board a bus to Pokhara. The scenic 7-hour journey through winding roads of hilly terrain includes breaks for snacks and lunch. The drive offers stunning views of tributaries, lush green hills, and roadside settlements.
Drive to Kande and Trek to Australian Base Camp (2000 m)
Trek to Dhampus (1650 m) and Sarangkot
Dhampus View Tower - The trek descends to Pothana and Dhampus, where you can explore traditional houses with sloped roofs and meet local people. As you approach, enjoy the breathtaking view of Mt. Fishtail. A private jeep, car, or taxi will take you to Sarangkot.
Return to Pokhara
Sarangkot - Before 6:00 a.m., walk to the Sarangkot viewpoint to witness the Himalayan sunrise over Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Machhapuchhre. After breakfast, hike down or take a taxi back to Pokhara.
Return to Kathmandu from Pokhara
Thamel - Breakfast is served at 6:00 a.m. before departing for Kathmandu. The 7-hour bus ride through winding roads includes breaks for snacks and lunch. Retracing the route, you will arrive in Kathmandu and be transferred back to the hotel.
