Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m. /4,592ft.)
Kathmandu - Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our team will warmly welcome you. It’s advisable to spend half a day preparing for the trek and resting. Our team will accompany you to the hotel, where you will meet your trekking guide and finalize preparations for the journey.
Drive to Pokhara (822m. /2696ft., 200km, 7 to 8 hours)
Pokhara - The guide will meet you at your accommodation at 6:30 am. We will take a short walk to Sorakhutte tourist bus station to catch our bus, which departs from Kathmandu at 7:00 am. After a brief drive, we will stop at Malekhu for breakfast. Continuing our journey, we will pause for lunch at Ghasi Kuwa. The scenic drive along the winding road offers views of the river and lush greenery, with occasional glimpses of the white mountains. After a 7-8 hour drive, we will arrive at Pokhara lakeside, Nepal’s tourism hub. Enjoy dinner on your own while taking in the beautiful lakeside views. You can also do some last-minute shopping for the Himalayan Adventure Trip.
Drive to Nayapul from Pokhara, then trek to Ulleri (2070m.|6791ft. 5 - 6 hrs)
Ulleri - After breakfast in Pokhara, the guide will arrange transportation to the bus park. From there, we will take a shared local bus/jeep to the trek’s starting point. A one-and-a-half-hour drive will bring us to Nayapul, the gateway to the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Annapurna foothill trek, and the classic Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. We will begin our trek along the Modi river, passing through traditional villages like Birethanti, Gurung village Sudame, Hile, and Tikhedhunga. We will spend the night in Ulleri.
Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2875m.|9432ft. 5 to 6 hrs)
Poon Hill - The first morning on the mountain brings the sounds of local animals, but the stunning sunrise views will captivate you. Breakfast offers incredible views of Annapurna South and Himchuli Himal from Ulleri village. We will proceed to Ghorepani, following trails with green forests, waterfalls, river views, dense rhododendron forests, and oak trees. After 4 to 5 hours of leisurely walking, we will reach upper Ghorepani, where many guesthouses offer views of the Himalayas. We will ensure you have the best accommodation for the night.
Sunrise from Poonhill then trek to Tadapani (2650m.|8694ft. 6 - 7 hrs)
Poon Hill - It’s a chilly morning, and we will rise early for a 45-minute to 1-hour hike to Poon Hill Viewpoint for sunrise. Ghorepani Poon Hill is renowned as one of the world’s best viewpoints, offering views of 18 Himalayan peaks, including Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Dhampus peak, Nilgiri south, Nilgiri center, Nilgiri North, Tilicho peak, Annapurna 1, Bharha Chuli, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Machhapuchhre, Mardi Himal, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, and more. After sunrise, we return to our guest house for breakfast. We will then walk along a beautiful trail through the rhododendron forest, enjoying mountain views throughout the journey. We will reach Tadapani village by passing through Banthanti.
Tadapani to Sinuwa via Chhomrong village (2340m.|7676ft. 6-7 hrs)
Chhomrong - The hike is enjoyable and relatively easy as it descends to Sinuwa. We bid farewell to Tadapani and descend to Sinuwa, a small village with views of Modi & Chhomrong Khola. After a downhill hike and crossing a bridge over the Modi River, we arrive in Chhomrong, a picturesque settlement beneath the majestic Annapurna I. From Chhomrong, we ascend for two hours to reach Sinuwa, where we can admire the breathtaking mountain views to the north.
Sinuwa to Deurali (3230m.|10595ft. 6 - 7 hrs)
Deurali - Sinuwa offers a breathtaking view of the sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast, we begin our ascent to Deurali. The climb takes about one and a half hours to reach Bamboo. As we journey through a dense bamboo and rhododendron forest, we enjoy the fresh atmosphere and the sounds of birds. Today’s trek ends at Deurali. We will pass Hiku cave, where clear views of glaciers and rivers can be seen. After crossing several suspension bridges and rivers, we arrive in Deurali.
Trek to Annapurna Base camp (4130m.|13548ft. 6 - 7 hrs)
Annapurna Base Camp Trek - Our trek leads us to the ultimate destination, Annapurna Base Camp, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and captivating scenery. We proceed to Annapurna Base Camp after passing through Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m). Throughout the route, we enjoy stunning views of Mardi Himal, Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna I. Caution is advised as the pathways are prone to landslides. Upon reaching Annapurna Base Camp, the magnificent Annapurna I stands directly before us. The views and sunset at Annapurna Base Camp are truly remarkable.
ABC to Sinuwa (2340m.|7676ft. 6 -7 hrs)
Sinuwa - If the weather is clear, we will witness the breathtaking sunrise from Annapurna Base Camp. After breakfast, we return to Sinuwa via rugged trails and sparsely forested areas. As we descend, we pass through high hills covered in vegetation. The downhill hike is relatively easy, and the expansive view of the Annapurna Range alleviates any fatigue. After a few hours of trekking, we reach Deurali. Our journey for the day continues as we descend to Sinuwa through Bamboo and Hiku Cave.
Trek down to Siwai via Jhinu Danda, then drive to Pokhara (800m.|2626ft. 7 to 8 hrs)
Pokhara Lakeside - On the final day of our adventure, we trek for about two hours from Sinuwa to Siwai. We ascend to Chhomrong, enjoying the stunning views of the mountains, waterfalls, and charming farmlands. We then follow the scenic trail from Chhomrong to Jhinu Danda. After leaving Jhinu Danda and crossing the Kimrong Khola on a suspension bridge, we arrive in Siwai. From Siwai, we take a jeep via Nayapul to Pokhara.
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,400m. /4,592ft., 7 to 8 hrs drive)
Kathmandu - After breakfast, we bid farewell to Pokhara, the city of lakes, and head to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, the rest of the day is free for relaxation or shopping. In the evening, we will enjoy a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of our adventure.
Final departure
TIA - Our thrilling Annapurna Base Camp trek concludes. On your last day in Kathmandu, you will fly to your next destination. Our team will escort you to the airport and bid you a fond farewell.
