Journey from Pokhara to Sarangkot and Hike to Australian Camp

Australian Camp - Begin the day with an early morning drive to Sarangkot to witness a breathtaking sunrise. This experience will be the highlight of the day, providing energy and enthusiasm for the rest of the journey. The drive takes approximately 20 minutes. After enjoying the sunrise, continue the journey by driving to Kande, where the trek to Australian Camp begins.

Australian Camp is a remarkable village offering unobstructed views of the Annapurna Himalaya Mountains, Machhapuchhre mountains, the Manaslu range, and lush green hills on a clear day. The drive from Kande takes about 25 minutes, followed by a 2-3 hour trek to the camp.

Descend to Kande and Return to Pokhara

Pokhara - The adventure concludes with a hike down to Kande, taking approximately 2 hours. Afterward, enjoy a scenic 30-minute drive back to Pokhara. (B)

Australian Camp, positioned at the scenic apex of the campsite, presents a captivating panorama of valleys and the Annapurna Mountain Range. This location lies on the northwest fringes of Pokhara. The journey continues from Kande and takes approximately an hour. The ascent is challenging; traversing a path of stony steps for around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Australian Camp. Nestled on the ridge, it offers a breathtaking view of Annapurna South (7219 m), Hiunchuli (6440 m), Machhapuchhre (6993 m), and Lamjung Himal.
