• Pharping - After your morning breakfast at the hotel (own expense), your tour guide will pick you up at 8:00 am and take you to a drive to Pharping, a small village which is 16 km away from the valley.

Start your hiking from Pharping, all the way through Hattiban resort to the small hilltop named Champadevi hill through the pine forest. Sightseeing on the hilltop with a spectacular view of mountains, temples and shrines.

08:00 –Pick up from your hotel.
08:15 – Depart from Hotel to hiking starting point approx. 1 hr drive which is 19 kms south West of Kathmandu
09:15 – Tea break (own expense), fill up water bottle or last minute shopping for the hike

  09:30 – From here we start hiking gradually up following the trail to Champadevi
  12:30 –Enjoy different landscapes with the varieties of plants as well as birds. Reach top of Champ Devi and have a magnificent views of Langtang, Gauri Shanker, Jugal, Dorge Lakpa and many others. (It is advisable to bring your own water bottle for this trail as there is no source of water during this hike)

• Taudaha - 13:30– After enjoying leisurely time with good views of the Mountain View, we descend to Taudaha.
  16:00– Meet your vehicle at Taudaha and drive back to Kathmandu and drop to the hotel.

Embark on a day trip from Kathmandu to Champadevi, the eastern peak of the southwestern rim of the Kathmandu Valley. Standing at an elevation of 7,496 feet (2,285 meters) above sea level, Champadevi is a renowned pilgrimage destination for both Hindu and Buddhist followers. It offers an equally delightful, easy, and short hike in the southern hills of the Kathmandu Valley.

The journey through the lush pine forest on a well-developed trail is truly a wonderful experience. The path gently ascends for about half an hour towards the north ridge, then continues upward through the enchanting forest to reach Champadevi. Much of the hike follows the ridge, providing a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding mountains. From this vantage point, visitors can admire the stunning central and western Himalayan range, including Langtang, Gauri Shanker, Jugal, Dorge Lakpa, and many others.
