Traveling from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Chitwan by Tourist Bus (5-6 hours) and Activities in Chitwan

Kathmandu - Guests are picked up from their hotel between 6:00 am and 6:30 am to travel to Chitwan by tourist bus. Upon arrival at Sauraha Bus Park/Tadi or Bharatpur Airport, staff will greet you and transfer you to the resort. Refreshments will be offered, and a briefing on the facilities will be provided. After receiving the day’s itinerary, guests will be shown to their rooms. Lunch is served at 1:00 pm. At 3:00 pm, enjoy a village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village to learn about the Tharu lifestyle. Visit the National Park Visitor’s Center to discover more about the park’s history and wildlife, followed by a sunset view from the Rapti River bank. At 7:00 pm, enjoy a Tharu cultural dance presentation, where participation is encouraged. Dinner is at 8:00 pm, with an overnight stay at a luxury resort.

Full Day Jungle Activities and Tower Night Stay

Chitwan National Park - Start the day with a wake-up call and breakfast, followed by a canoe ride along the Rapti River. This is an excellent opportunity for bird watching and spotting the rare Marsh Mugger and fish-eating Gharial crocodiles. A jungle walk with a nature guide follows, then return to the hotel.

After lunch, prepare for the Jungle Tower Night. Local transportation will be used, followed by a 40-minute to 1-hour hike to the jungle tower, located at the river’s edge in the forest and powered by solar panels. This area is known for good animal movement, offering a unique experience of sleeping inside the park. Upon reaching the tower, enjoy more jungle walks and a sunset view. At 8:00 pm, a packed dinner is served inside the jungle. During the tower night, a guide and assistant will be present, and they will alert you to any animal movement during the night. Chitwan District - Wake up around 8:00 am for a light breakfast in the tower or at the hotel. Return to the hotel via a jungle walk and local transport. After freshening up, guests have the option of a bicycle tour to the 20,000 Lake Area or relaxing. At 1:00 pm, embark on a 35-kilometer jeep safari inside Chitwan National Park to see various wild animals and birds, and visit the crocodile breeding center. After the jeep safari, relax at the resort, take a dip in the pool, or explore the nearby area. Overnight stay at a luxury resort.
