Amazing EBC experience! - The EBC tour operated by Indira and her team was amazing from beginning to end! Their attention to detail ensuring you have the best experience not only on the trek but also before and after at the hotel is the best that you can expect.
Puja was our tour guide and she ensured that we had a smooth trek to Base Camp and back. She kept us motivated and informed with what we needed to pack, eat and wear to ensure we had the best experience.
I would recommend them again and again!

Excellent company perfect guide wonderful trip - A fantastic trip from start to finish
Nothing was too much trouble for this excellent company who went out of their way to accommodate me having been delayed arriving due to flight disruption. They amended things so I could still do my full trip, took great care of my when I was unwell for a day during my trip and I had the most fantastic guide in Manoj. I can't thank you enough, already planning my next trip with this company.

The best experience - The whole process was very smooth. Good communication prior to trip commencement, detailed kit list. Picked up from airport on arrival and stayed at a very nice hotel before and after the trek. The guide went at a good pace so everyone made it to base camp despite different abilities. Stayed in nice tea houses. Wonderful farewell dinner. 10/10 experience, couldn’t have asked for better.

Everest Base Camp with Raj - The Everest Base Camp Trip was incredible! Icicles Adventures were clear, communicated well and provided so much information right from the onset. Indira and her team were amazingly fast at responding to any questions or concerns - before the trek, during and continue to be helpful even after the trip had ended. The trip itself was phenomenal - the scenery was spectacular. What made it special was our guide - Raj - he was amazing! We felt safe with him, he set a perfect pace and was always looking to make our trip run smoothly and enjoyable. We felt we learnt so much from Raj about the country and it was lovely to form a positive relationship with him. I episode highly recommend this company to take you to EBC - good value for money with some joy available for hire, all logistics taken care off, safety and an amazing farewell dinner at the need of the trip. A trip of a lifetime - thank you Icicles!!

5-Star Review –Life-Changing Experience with Icicles - Trekking to Everest Base Camp has always been on my bucket list, and choosing Icicles to guide me through this journey was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
From the moment I landed in Kathmandu, the team was incredibly organised and professional. The airport pickup, pre-trek briefing, and gear check were all smooth and reassuring. Our guide, Prakash, wow we couldn't have asked for anymore. He checked on our health constantly, managed the pace perfectly, and was quick to adapt if anyone had altitude issues. Not only that he was a great guy who we all got along with on a personal sense. The porters were really great with us too. At different points in the trek some of the group wanted to go at different paces so we were able to go ahead with a porter if we wanted to go a bit faster or slower.
The itinerary was well-paced for acclimatisation, and the teahouses we stayed in were comfortable, considering the remoteness. Meals were hearty, and the company ensured dietary needs were met. The highlight, of course, was standing at Everest Base Camp with the Khumbu Icefall in full view and Mount Everest itself in the background — absolutely surreal.
What really stood out was the personal care and attention we received throughout the trek. Icicles wasn’t just ticking boxes; they genuinely cared about each trekker's experience and well-being. We also appreciated their commitment to sustainable tourism and supporting local communities.
If you’re thinking about trekking to EBC, I highly recommend Icicles. They turn a challenging adventure into a safe, memorable, and deeply rewarding journey.

Absolutely outstanding - This was the most incredible experience. The tour was so well organized from start to finish. The guidance and advice prior to my trip was exceptional. The accommodations and food were also exceptional. The Guide 'Prakash' was on a level I have never experienced before. He took care of everything. Ensured our health was checked constantly. Gave us so much information and guidance yet allowed us time to embrace this amazing trip. The assistant guide whom we named 'Doctor' was also outstanding. As a keen runner I wanted to do some runs, Doctor ran with me to ensure my safety and well-being too. I recommend this company 100%. I am already looking for my next adventure with them.

Icicles EBC Trek May 25 - My friend Dave Giles and I booked as solo travellers, and joined 3 others for the trek from Lukla to EBC and return. The whole package, from collection at the airport, through initial and post-trek admin, and on the trek itself was nothing short of exceptional - highly professional, and fun. Even when we were grumpy - which of course all five of us suffered from on the odd occasion - Raj and Probyn were brilliant guides. The group had its diverse requirements, as any newly formed group of people would - but these two guides dealt with it calmly, and with an absolute focus on getting us to the destination and back. Their flexibility in dealing with oxygen, food and other issues was never really challenged, and for that I thank them - and can genuinely state that there were no moments that genuinely challenged progress to the top and back. Our porters were also superb, and big thanks to them. I will forever be grateful to Raj in particular for making me don long trousers on the EBC day, as it snowed on us - but I did manage the rest in shorts. This trip at the age of 55 has encouraged me to get on with sharing the same with my family if they will, and also to get some of the higher trekking peaks completed - so for that too, a huge thank you. To Raj, Probyn, Indira, Parashu, the porters, and of course to my very patient fellow trekkers I extend a HUGE THANK YOU, and of course a massive recommend for Icicles. Cheers - Dal Bhat Power 24 Hour!!!
