Everest base camp trek - Alpine Ramble really took care of me on my trek. Amar was a great guide and he helped make the experience. The teahouses were all cosy and the food was great. Of course the views in the Himalayas were mind blowing and I am thrilled I got to see the great mountain with my own eyes

11 Day Trek to Everest Base Camp - On 25 April, 2025 I commenced an 11 Day Trek to Everest Base Camp. My Alpine Ramble guide, Bhupal and porter, Girija were excellent support every step of the way. Accommodation and meals were organised by Bhupal. All I had to do was concentrate on walking. We made it to and from EBC in the allocated 11 days. As a 74 year old I could not have accomplished this without their support.

Life experience with Alpine - It was a great experience! Top guides and porters led by Prashant, we all enjoyed. I went with two friends and we had a super nice group. We got a lot of explanation and also the altitude was taken into account. We also received a bag, cap, t-shirt and a figurine as a certificate. Super fun. All in all a good experience for life! Prashant, Orsun and the porters thank you!

A Life-Changing EBC Trek with the Incredible Krishna and Robi! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Our Everest Base Camp trek was nothing short of extraordinary, and that’s entirely thanks to our incredible guide Krishna and our amazing porter Robi. From day one, Krishna’s warm and charming personality made us feel safe, supported, and truly welcomed. We chose Alpine Ramble in the first place cause the website offered a good and rounded up overview about the itinerary. In addition the value for money was just amazing. We got picked up from the airport and later on got picked up again from our homestay. It was a really warm welcome from Dil and Krishna. They then answered all of our questions and provided us with the necessary amenities like sleeping bags, down jackets and duffle bags. Krishna always put our safety first and had a remarkable sensitivity to how we were feeling—physically and emotionally. If something was off, he noticed immediately and gently offered help, making us feel cared for every step of the way. On top of that, Krishna was full of fascinating stories and insights about the Himalayas and Nepalese culture, which made every day on the trail even more enriching. One of the most special aspects of the trek was how Krishna would sit with us during meals and chat for hours. His kindness and humor quickly turned him from a guide into a real friend, and that made the journey feel even more personal and unforgettable. Robi, our porter, was equally fantastic—always cheerful, friendly, and full of positive energy. He let me hike alongside him many times, helping me improve my pace and confidence on the trail. His support and attitude made even the tougher days enjoyable. Together, Krishna and Robi didn’t just lead us through the mountains—they created memories that we’ll carry with us forever. What could have been just an adventurous trek became a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with heart, laughter, and deep gratitude. If you’re considering the EBC trek, we can’t recommend Krishna and Robi enough. With them by your side, it won’t just be a trek—it will be a journey of a lifetime.

Must do life experience with Alpine Ramble - My adventure to Everest Base Camp via Gokya & Chola Pass was nothing short of the most incredible adventure I have ever undergone in my life. My guide Harka Tamang was the absolute BEST!!! Without his seamless experience this trek would have been near impossible. His support while I was exhausted, navigational skills exceptional, ability to arrange permits through the national park with ease was so wonderful. Not only was my guide my best friend up the mountain, he encompassed a father figure or older brother to me, as well as being an exceptional photographer. If you want to take on the adventure of a lifetime, I highly recommended Alpine Ramble and asking for Harka Tamang to take you on your journey. Everybody knows him and respects him throughout the trek, making any request a breeze.

Fantastic trekking with Alpine Ramble - My friends and I had a good trip with the Alpine Ramble to EBC. Our guide, Prem, was very skillful and took good care of us. He handled it especially well, as two of us were hit by heights, and helped with evacuation and hospital. Alpine Ramble and Prem can be clearly recommended

Everest base camp without Gokyo un April - We recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek, and although it didn’t go exactly as planned, it was an unforgettable experience. Our original itinerary was the Everest Base Camp with Gokyo Lakes, a longer and more scenic route over 11 days. However, due to unexpected cancellations of the local flights—a common issue in the region that all travelers should be prepared for—we had to adjust and shorten our trek to a 9-day Everest Base Camp route without Gokyo. While the agency couldn’t be held responsible for the flight cancellations, we do feel that communication around the changes could have been clearer and more timely. That said, once the trek was underway, everything was handled smoothly. Our guide, Dawa, was absolutely fantastic—calm, patient, and highly knowledgeable. He ensured our group was well-supported throughout the journey, and we felt in very good hands the entire time. All in all, despite the changes, we had an amazing time and walked away with a life-changing experience. The beauty of the Himalayas and the sense of achievement in reaching Base Camp will stay with us forever.
