EBC Trek April 2025 !! - ACE was an excellent guide company to work with on the EBC Trek! I went solo with the group setting and our groups guide Ram was hands down the best of the best and the porters team with Callica was amazing too! There’s a bit of logistics with Lukla and things can go wrong, but ACE always had high optimism and many solutions to accommodate to keep the trip on itinerary. The trek itself is beautiful and challenging to each individual in its own way and being in a group helps a lot! The accommodations, service, relationships Ram and team have with the Sherpa community, made the trip special and highly recommend to anyone!

Everest 14 day trek - We had an amazing 14 day trek to Everest base camp, from the moment we landed in this vibrant city we felt we were in good hands. The scenery and routes taken to EBC are stunning, there's so many memorable moments. The Ace guides and porters are very good, in particular our guide Sushanta went above and beyond - his help to get us there and back was very much appreciated. I have several friends back home that are keen to do this trip, if I had one tip would be to take the helicopter from Kathmandu to Lukla. The drive is a tough 5hr's along tracks where the roads washed away last Sept. Thank you Ace the Himalayas, for making our trip memorable!!!

Everest Base Camp trek - 14 Days - Did a 14 day trek to Everest Base Camp with guide Sushanta. Had an amazing time and amazing views, it was a tough walk but Sushanta was so helpful and knowledgeable about the entire process. The drive to/from airport is very tough, and the flights to/from Lukla are very temperamental which was not 100% aware of beforehand so if I did the trek again I would most likely take the helicopter option from Kathmandu. Would definitely trek with Ace the Himalaya again and 100% recommend Sushanta as a guide, couldn’t ask for anyone better to guide us on the trail!!

Everest Base Camp April 25. - The pre trek meeting was informative and all aspects of the trek were explained. If you are in thinking you don't need to hire a sleep bag, think again! The accommodation on the trek obviously became more basic the further up the mountain we got but our needs were met. Can't complain about the food - there was always plenty and a good selection. Our trek leader, Raj was very helpful and made sure we were all going well - we all made it to Base Camp. His assistant, Sser (I think that is how you spell his name) was always there is anything was needed to be done. Couldn't have asked for a better group of porters as well.

An amazing Himalayan adventure! - An amazing experience! Ace The Himalayas nailed it!! Rajendra as primary guide and Sser as assistant guide were the best! Couldn't have asked for better guides. They were both very knowledgeable and have us the experience of a lifetime. The views were so amazing....waking up every morning to a panoramic view of paradise! Thank you so much to Ace the Himalayas and especially to Rajendra and Sser for making the trek such a memorable experience! Highly recommend this company and these 2 guides to make your trek magical!

EBC with helicopter return - 12 days: WOW WOW - It is very difficult to express how I feel about this trip in words! Simply amazing, stunning, and a trip of a lifetime. Views got better and better by the minute honestly. I joined 4 other friends on this trip, and we were joined by 2 others assigned by Ace. This was a great group size, not too big and not too small, and we all got along so well together. Nimesh, our guide, was our fearless leader and was no less than perfect. His >10 years of experience shows. Yes, he knows the mountains (and "hills") like the back of his hand and his knowledge of them is vast, but his love for them is obvious, and being around that energy is just simply fun! :) He answered so many questions, including the classic "can you see Everest?" about 100 times. Sundeep was our sherpa / guide-in-training, and was a very helpful and so fun addition to our crew! I will not lie, the altitude is difficult, but most of our group of 5 did not take part in serious training for the trek (acknowledging we are in our late 20s/early 30s). All of our crew took diamox starting before or in Namche Bazaar. One of our crew had a good case of altitude sickness the last couple of days (headache, nausea/vomiting, exhaustion), but we always felt safe in the hands of Nimesh, and he provided great guidance. This member did not make it to Kala Patthar the last day, but made it to base camp! If financially possible, would recommend helicopter ride from Gorak Shep to Lukla, as it takes off the last few days of long treks (although altitude does get better!). But we were pretty exhausted by day 12 (kala patthar), so it was really nice to skim off those last few days. Bucket list, breath-taking, jaw-dropping Everest sunrise views from Kala Patthar on the last day. We had the most clear day of the trek on this day, and it was beautiful. This particular day, although short, is very difficult given elevation (>5000 m) and elevation gained (think >300 m in a few hrs). Stay safe and take breaks as needed. Worth the views if able to complete! I would say one of the most impressive parts of this trip was the seamlessness and not having to take on the brunt of decision making/figuring things out. We had a bit of a hiccup in the first portion of the trip that due to weather conditions/smog, there were no flights out of Ramecchap to Lukla. There were not any the next day, so we did pay additional $ for a helicopter flight from Ramecchap to Lukla. Also ended up doing additional helicopter on the way back (helicopter from Gorak Shep to Lukla [part of the 12 day trip booked], then also Lukla to Kathmandu), as we were worried that catching a flight from Lukla to Rhamecchap would be too risky. Given these hiccups, I would recommend either leaving a least a FEW additional days of wiggle days at the end of the trip in case travel is delayed or just planning for helicopter in and out. We had only left 1 wiggle day room, which we used up at the beginning. All this is to say, Nimesh made this whole process clear and smooth for us. We did make the decisions about whether and when to do the helicopters, but he figured it all out for us once we came to a decision. In addition, there was no pressure to do the helicopter bookings. He figured everything we needed to do in the airports (which is a hectic crazy place!). Along these lines, the entire trip was seamless. Ace and Nimesh figured everything out for us and provided us great guidance - what time to get up for the morning, what tea house we were staying in, what to wear for the day, what and when to eat - it made it easy to just be able to focus on trekking, friends, the beautiful views, staying warm, and eating delish food! I was suspicious of all the amazing reviews when booking our trip, but now I understand! Highly recommend Ace for a trip of a lifetime!

Fantastic EBC Trek with Ace the Himalaya - We highly recommend Ace the Himalayas for the Everest Base Camp trek:- From the very start the communication was excellent and they provide all the information needed ahead of time. The inclusions are all good value (hotels, bags, transfers), going above and beyond to help make this an experience of a lifetime. The accomodation and food en route to EBC was also good value and as comfortable as you are going to get halfway up a mountain. Special mention goes to our guide Krish; who made the trip fantastic with exemplary customer service balancing both safety and fun. We were very well looked after and he made the trip extra enjoyable, with his kind and caring attitude that kept up the motivation in the group. We also appreciate the contribution of Shukra and the porters who also made the trekking seem-less. We were a group of seven in our thirties, doing the 14 day EBC trek.

Everest Base Camp Trek - Ace the Himalaya - We just got back from our 2 week Everest Base Camp trek with Ace the Himalaya and it exceeded our expectations tenfold. We felt taken care of the entire way and that was all thanks to our guide Krish. He was exceptional. He answered any questions we had, put us at ease when it came to our worries about altitude and had us laughing the entire trip. Once back in Kathmandu we had dinner with him twice as he has now become a friend. The toughest part about leaving Nepal is saying farewell to Krish but it’s never goodbye it’s always see you again. We can’t recommend him and Ace the Himalaya enough for this trek and have already mentioned it to our family and friends.
