Arrival in Kathmandu
Kathmandu - Altitude: 1,350m/4,428ft
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, guests will be warmly welcomed. They will then be transferred to their hotel. In the evening, a briefing session will be held to prepare for the trek, followed by a restful night.

Arrival in Kathmandu
Kathmandu - Altitude: 1,350m/4,428ft
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, guests will be warmly welcomed. They will then be transferred to their hotel. In the evening, a briefing session will be held to prepare for the trek, followed by a restful night.
Kathmandu to Lukla Flight, Hike to Phakding
Phakding - Altitude: 2,800m/9,184ft (Lukla) & 2,652m/8,698ft (Phakding)
Walking Distance: 8km (3-4 hours)
The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla lasts approximately 35 minutes, offering stunning mountain views. Upon arrival, the trekking adventure begins along the Dudh Koshi River, passing through stone villages and snow-capped mountains to Cheplung (2,700m) and Ghat (2,530m). Enjoy the first overnight stay in Phakding.
Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Namche Bazaar - After breakfast, the trek continues through pine forests and across the Dudh Koshi River on a long suspension bridge leading to Monjo Village. Shortly after, trekkers will arrive at the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park, where trekking permits will be registered. A steep ascent follows, leading to Namche Bazaar for an overnight stay, where the first glimpse of Mt. Everest can be seen in the distance.
Rest and Acclimatization Day
Namche Bazaar - Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft
Today is a rest day in Namche Bazaar to relax and acclimatize. Guests can explore the historical mountaineering town or opt for a 3-4 hour hike to the Everest Viewpoint Hotel, aiding in acclimatization. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset views against the backdrop of majestic mountains such as Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Everest.
Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Tengboche - Altitude: 3,800m/12,467ft
Walking Distance: 9.2 km (5-6 hours)
Ascending through the village of Phunki Tenga, trekkers will reach Tengboche, home to the largest and most renowned Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region. Overnight stay in Tengboche.
Tengboche to Dingboche
Dingboche - Altitude: 4,200m/13,779ft
Walking Distance: 9 km (5-6 hours)
The trail descends from Tengboche through a rhododendron forest to Debuche. After crossing the Imja Khola River, Pangboche village is reached. Trekkers will be captivated by the spectacular views of Mt. Ama Dablam and other mountains.
Acclimatization in Dingboche
Dingboche - After several days of strenuous walking, a free day is available to rest and relax. Alternatively, a hike to Nangkhartshang Peak (5,083m) is an ideal way to acclimatize and may take 3-4 hours.
Dingboche to Lobuche
Lobuche - Altitude: 4,900m/16,076ft
Walking Distance: 11-12 km (6-7 hours)
The trek ascends steeply on the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, the highest glacier in the world.
Lobuche to Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp
Gorakshep - Altitude: 5,180m/16,994ft (Gorakshep) & 5,364m/17,598ft (EBC)
Walking Distance: 15km (6-8 hours)
The trail from Gorakshep is relatively challenging due to rocky terrain and icefalls. Continuing to climb the Khumbu Glacier, trekkers will be rewarded with breathtaking mountain views upon reaching Everest Base Camp. After taking pictures and enjoying the scenery, the journey continues.
Gorakshep to Kalapathar and Pangboche
Pangboche - Altitude: 5,545m/18,192ft (Kalapathar) & 4,320m/14,173ft (Pangboche)
Starting early in the morning, trekkers will climb 2-3 hours uphill towards Kalapathar, meaning “black rock” in Nepali. Prepare to witness unparalleled views of the entire Khumbu Glacier below and the majestic views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Changtse, and Lhotse above. The route retraces steps down to Gorakshep and continues descending to Pangboche.
Pangboche to Namche
Namche Bazaar - Altitude: 3,440m/11,284ft
Walking Distance: 13-15km (7-8 hours)
The trail from Pangboche to Namche is filled with ups and downs. Passing through Tengboche for lunch, the path is covered with rhododendron and juniper trees, home to various animals and birds, before reaching Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.
Namche Bazaar to Phakding to Lukla
Lukla - Altitude: 2,800m/9,184ft
Walking Distance: 16km (6-7 hours)
The route descends to Lukla, following the Dudh Koshi River and crossing several suspension bridges through the valley. A celebration with the trekking crew awaits in the evening to mark a successful expedition in the Himalayas.
Lukla to Kathmandu
Kathmandu - Altitude: 1,350m/4,428ft
Flight time: 35 minutes
Guests will wake early to take a flight to Kathmandu and then transfer to their hotel. They can explore Kathmandu city or relax for the rest of the day.
Kathmandu Departure Day
Kathmandu - Enjoy the last moments in Kathmandu with a stroll or souvenir shopping. Marking the end of the trek, guests will be driven to Tribhuvan International Airport at the scheduled time for their flight home. If extra days are available for other activities, assistance is available.
