Trip of a lifetime to the top of the world, Everest! - My son and I just completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Green Valley. Our guide Robin and porter Diness did an amazing job! The Green Valley itinerary was perfect and provided the right amount of acclimation time to achieve our goals of reaching Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar without issue. It was the experience of a lifetime with astounding views. Robin (our guide) was attentive, knowledgeable, fun-loving, caring, and always provided excellent guidance and preparation information each day/evening. Raj and team at the head office were very responsive in all matters, assisting us in choosing the right trek, providing prompt responses to preparatory questions ahead of time, and assisting and supporting with any/all activities and in country coordination. A truly unforgettable experience for my sone and I. I highly recommend the Green Valley team for any Nepal trekking experience you may have interest. It’s a very well run and reputable local Nepali run and owned company.

Awesome experience words & pictures alone just can’t describe - Last minute Me and my teenage son decided to do EBC before the monsoons set in and we had an awesome experience at EBC. This wouldn’t have been possible without Raj. Not only he arranged everything in short notice but went beyond making sure we were at ease from hassle free arrival, airport pick, excellent accommodation at hot tourist spot in Thamel , excellent Tea houses for lunch, friendly loving & welcoming lodges for dinner & night stay through out our journey to EBC & back. Our Guide Mr Gokarna Rai was extremely knowledgeable, kind & patient with me as I was the slowest in our Group 😊. Our Porter Mr Santosh words can’t describe his god given strength to climb mountains with such heavy load at ease and with always smiling attitude. Unforgettable experiences and amazing team - Green Valley is one of the largest local tour operators with competitive pricing. They are efficient in managing the operations and dealing with unexpected situations. Our guides are experienced and had led many trips to EBC and other routes as well. All very kind in assisting every way they could on the trek! They even offer to carry my backpack when I was struggling a bit during the trek.

Amazing Trekking Experience - We had an amazing trip trekking to EBC in May of 2025. Arjun answered all of our questions up until the trek and ensured that we were prepared and ready with every detail we needed. Dewan, our guide, was super friendly and ensured that we knew every detail of what was required so we could enjoy our trip. We went with Luxury package and enjoy some nice accommodations along the trek. Raj and Arjun were particularly helpful as we were able to get a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla during peak period which is rare when most flights flight out of Ramechap. Additionally, on the way back, we had a heli ride from Lukla however due to weather they were not flying anything out of Lukla they were able to shift us down to a flight from Surke so that we could get back the day we had planned. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and Green Valley ensured that we had a memorable one! Highly recommend going with this local provider for your Nepal trek!

Amazing experience with Depak and Green Valley! - Wow! Such an incredible trip with Green Valley. Everything from start to finish had such a warm welcome and was well coordinated. However, Depak(our trek guide), is who really made our trip special. We did the EBC via Gokyo trek which was very challenging on some days, but Depak was always encouraging and full of knowledge about the area. Additionally, he always seemed to have a smile on his face and seemed to really enjoy his job which motivated us even more! We would 100% recommended Green Valley and would particularly recommend to trek with Depak if given the chance!

EBC trekking Adventure! - Excellent Nepali run company, they were very organized, professional and well run. Raj organized everything to last detail, answered all of our questions for the last 1+ years, and has been nothing but friendly and helpful. We could tell they had many contacts throughout our trip, they made sure we made it to Lukla on time and got us back to Kathmandu on time. Our main guide Bishwa was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and the right balance of compassion and keeping our large group moving. He knows the Himalayas like the back of his hand and was an excellent trip leader. Our assistant guides Ashish and Bhupendra were also awesome—so dependable, happy, coordinated with Bishwa and Green Valley. We had a 100% success rate of reaching EBC and returning safely with our group of 11 family and friends. Highly recommend and endorse Green Valley Nepal.

An unforgettable Everest Base Camp trip - thank you Arjun and Ambar - Overall a top experience from Green Valley Nepal Treks, smooth booking and an unforgettable trek. Organising the trip was smooth and easy, with Arjun in the Green Valley office being helpful and responsive answering our questions in the run up to the trip. The trek itself was amazing, with stunning views of the Himalayas and great exposure to local culture. Special shoutout must be given to our guide Ambar, he taught us an incredible amount about Nepalese and Himalayan culture, gave great local recommendations, and delivered an overall flawless experience. The accommodation is basic but comfortable (this was expected, we were on the budget EBC 12 day trek), on top of the packing list Green Valley provides I would recommend bringing toilet paper, hand sanitiser, ear plugs, and something to keep you entertained in the afternoons/evenings when recovering from the day’s walking. The food in the tea houses was tasty with a variety of local options (I would recommend trying the Daal Baht, Momos, and Sherpa stew) as well as more western options (e.g. pasta or sandwiches). There are also a variety of bakeries and cafes available in the towns on the way up (special shoutout to Herman’s bakery in Namche and their chocolate carrot cake!). I would budget $20 per person per day as things get more expensive the higher up you get, but this should more than cover it. Beyond the incredible scenery and the hiking there is plenty of local culture and sights to be soaked up along the way, highlights for me included the Liquid Bar, Herman Bakery, Sagarmatha Next, and the Sherpa museum (all in Namche), the monasteries in Tengboche and Pangboche, and the Sherpa cafe and Cafe 4410 in Dingboche. In conclusion I would thoroughly recommend the EBC budget trek through Green Valley Nepal, thank you again Arjun and Ambar for an unforgettable experience.

Green Valley Everest Base Camp Trek - I had a great time doing the Everest Base Camp trek with Green Valley. Arjun was super helpful in the lead-up to the trip answering any questions we had very efficiently. We also very much appreciated that a helicopter (at no extra cost to us) was organised as soon as flights from Kathmandu to Lukla were cancelled so our trip was not delayed at all! Our guide on the trip, Ambar, was excellent! He was super friendly, whilst also always being very well-organised and attentive. We also loved how easygoing and open he was: we learnt lots about Nepalese culture and the amazing nature we walked through which we wouldn’t have known about otherwise. Overall, Green Valley provided a very well-priced and well-organised trip! Would definitely recommend!

TREKKING AT EBC - I recently completed my second trip with Green Valley to EBC. Although now is the peak season, the team still provided excellent support and made this an unforgettable experience. On the first day, they arranged a helicopter ride to Lukla due to bad weather which made the trip very on schedule. Our guide, Bishwa was excellent. He planned the itinerary perfectly so we had avoided the crowds, captured best weather and took many beautiful photos at EBC. Bishwa also provided encouragement during the hikes and his nightly briefings were full of useful insights about the mountain and trek. Also, he has excellent suggestions for meals at the tea houses. Bishwa’s passion for trekking and the mountains was evident and truly inspiring. Bhupendra ,the assistant guide, was also very caring, making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. The entire team, including the porters, was very friendly and supportive. Overall, this trip exceeded my expectations so I highly recommend this company.
