Arrival Day

Kathmandu - Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival, a staff member will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel near Thamel. There will be a pre-trip meeting with team members to prepare for the following day.

Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu and Trek to Phakding

Lukla - In the early morning, enjoy a scenic 40-minute flight from Kathmandu or Ramechap to Lukla, known for its challenging airport (weather and local conditions permitting). Upon arrival, meet the rest of the team. You’ll have time to explore the city while the guide organizes luggage for the porters.

Phakding - Take a short walk to the northwest of Phakding village, where you’ll spend the night. Use the remaining time to explore the community and learn more about it.

Trek to Namche (3440 M)

Namche Bazaar - Begin the trek along the western banks of the Dudh Koshi after an early breakfast. Cross two small suspension bridges to reach Monjo, then continue for a few more hours to Jorsalle, the last town before Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is the thriving trading center of the Khumbu Region. Overnight stay.

Rest Day at Namche

Everest View Point - As the trek ascends to higher elevations, it’s important to acclimatize. Spend a day in Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft), a charming location worth exploring. Consider a short visit to the Everest View Point Hotel for a stunning panoramic view.

Namche Bazaar - After visiting the Sherpa Museum, a great place to learn about Sherpa culture and mountaineering history, return to your hotel for the night.

Trek to Tengboche

Tengboche - On the fifth day, leave the community and follow a high-level path above the Dudh Koshi, enjoying breathtaking mountain views, including Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku, and Kwangde. The trail descends through a blue pine forest before reaching Phunki Thanga to cross the Dudh Kosi (3,250m). Meet the monks and learn about the monastery’s history, including its destruction by fire in 1989. Overnight in Tengboche.

Trek to Dingboche

Dingboche - Rise early and follow trails through rhododendron forests and meadows to the Buddhist nunnery at Deboche, then arrive at the Imja Khola. The path continues through Dingboche, Chukung Col, and beyond, passing Island Peak and Amphu Laptsa Peak. Overnight in Dingboche.

Rest Day at Dingboche

Dingboche - Take a day to relax before embarking on more challenging adventures. You may choose to rest entirely or explore nearby areas on a day walk. Return to Dingboche for the night.

Trek to Lobuche

Lobuche - Today’s journey leads to Dughla village, over a hill with memorials to Sherpas who lost their lives on Everest expeditions. Enjoy views of Kalar Pattar and Pumori as you continue along the Khumbu Glacier Moraine, navigating the challenging path to Lobuche. Overnight in Lobuche.

Trek to Gorakshep and Hike to Everest Base Camp

Everest Base Camp - After lunch, continue to the Khumbu Icefall and Everest Base Camp. The trail crosses rocky dunes, moraines, and streams until reaching the base camp. Explore the base camp and surrounding glacier before returning to Gorakshep for the night.

Gorak Shep - Begin the trek with a gentle incline that quickly becomes steeper for about 30 minutes. Descend to Gorak Shep, check into the lodge, and enjoy views of Mt. Pumori, Mt. Nuptse, and other magnificent peaks.

Hike to Kala Patthar and Trek Back to Pheriche

Kala Patthar - Reach the trek’s highest elevation. The guide will schedule a climb to Kala Patthar (5,550m) for breathtaking Everest sunrise views. After a two-hour walk, enjoy the best views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Ama Dablam, and the Khumbu Himalayan range.

Pheriche - After taking in the view, descend to Gorak Shep for breakfast, then head back to Pheriche for the night.

Trek Back to Namche

Namche Bazaar - Visit the Pangboche monastery, the area’s oldest, before descending the slope to Phungithanka via Tangboche. Continue trekking to Kyanjuma, the junction of routes to Gokyo Valley, Khumjung Village, and Namche Bazaar.

Trek Back to Lukla

Lukla - After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely walk through lush green landscapes, passing stunning mountain views and local Sherpa villages to the Hilary suspension bridge, Lukla. Upon arrival, your guide will confirm flight details, and you’ll have time to explore the area before spending the night at a hotel.

Fly to Kathmandu or Ramechap

Ramechhap Airport - During the busy season, fly to Ramechap due to air traffic at Kathmandu airport.

Kathmandu - Weather permitting, take an early morning flight to Kathmandu or Ramechap (depending on flight availability during peak season). Your guide will transport you to your accommodation. Share experiences with each other.

Final Departure

TIA - On the final day, you are free to embark on any additional adventures or activities booked before your departure flight or drive. If flying home, you will be taken to the international airport.
