Trek from Namche to Tengboche [3865m] 5:00 hrs
Mount Everest - Follow the Dudh Koshi River upstream to the water-driven prayer wheels near Phunke Tenga. Ascend above Imja Khola to reach Tengboche. Visit Tengboche Monastery, the largest and most sacred monastery in the Khumbu region, before entering the village. Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche [4410m] 6:00 hrs
Mount Everest - After breakfast, ascend to Dingboche, accompanied by views of Ama Dablam (6856m), Lhotse (8414m), and Everest (8848m). The trail passes through lush rhododendron forests and Pangboche village. Cross the Imja River on a suspension bridge and climb uphill to reach Dingboche. Overnight stay in Dingboche.
Trek from Dingboche to Chhukhung [4730m]. 2 hours.
Mount Everest - Instead of spending an extra day in Dingboche, head to Chhukung to avoid a long walk the next day while crossing Kongma-La pass. Enjoy a short yet fascinating uphill walk to Chhukhung. The trail follows the Imja River valley, offering a 360-degree view of nearby mountains. Pass through various villages and forested areas to arrive in Chhukhung. Overnight stay in Chhukhung.
Trek from Chhukhung to Lobuche (4910m) via Kongma-la pass [5535], 7-8 hours
Mount Everest - Cross the first pass, Kongma La (5535m), the highest of the three passes. After breakfast, prepare for a steep uphill trail with some challenges. After a few hours, reach the pass’s summit, enjoying views of various mountains and Khumbu region valleys. Descend to Lobuche, navigating the rocky track filled with Khumbu Glacier moraines. Overnight stay in Lobuche.
Trek from Lobuche to Everest base camp (5364m) via Gorakshep. Stay overnight in Gorakshep [5140m]. 7-8 hours.
Mount Everest - After breakfast, trek to Gorakshep, enjoying mesmerizing views of snow-capped peaks and glaciers. The stony tracks make walking challenging. Upon reaching Gorakshep, rest briefly before ascending to Everest Base Camp. At the base of mighty Everest (8848m), enjoy spectacular views of mountains like Nuptse (7861m), Khumbutse (6665m), Pumori (7165m), and others. Spend time at the base camp before returning to Gorakshep. Overnight stay in Gorakshep.
Morning hike from Gorakshep to Kala Pattar [5545m] 3:00 hrs and trek to Dzongla [4860m.] 6-7 hours.
Mount Everest - Early morning hike to witness a stunning sunrise from Kala Patthar (5550m). Experience breathtaking views of valleys and the first rays of sun on Mt. Everest (8848m). The view of Mt. Pumori (7165m) and other snowy mountains and glaciers is awe-inspiring from Kala Patthar (5545m). After spending time at the top, return to Gorakshep and proceed to Dzongla. After a few hours of ascent and a slight descent, arrive in Dzongla. Overnight stay in Dzongla.
Trek from Dzongla to Gokyo Lakes [4790m] via Cho La Pass (5420m). 6-7 hours.
Mount Everest - Tackle another challenging day by crossing the second pass, Cho La (5420m), to reach the stunning Gokyo lakes. A steep uphill climb on an ice-covered trail leads to Cho La’s summit (5420m). Crampons and other gear may be needed. From the pass, enjoy views of Cho Oyu (8188m), Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Chola (6089m), and more. Descend carefully on a slippery path to Cho La Phedi, then traverse dry land to reach the third Gokyo Lake, Dudh Pokhari. The enchanting lake reflects Cho Oyu’s (8188m) peak. Overnight stay in Gokyo.
Rest day in Gokyo and hike up to Gokyo-Ri [5360m]
Mount Everest - Enjoy a rest day in Gokyo with a morning hike to Gokyo Ri (5360m), a small mountain above Gokyo village. Relish the stunning views of the entire Gokyo valley, its many small lakes, and gorgeous mountain peaks. Optionally, hike to the fourth lake, Thonak Tsho (4870m), to appreciate its serene beauty, then return to the third lake. Overnight stay in Gokyo.
Trek from Gokyo to Renjo-La Pass [5360m] and then to Lunden [4368m] 6-7 hours
Mount Everest - Start early to cross the third and final high pass of Khumbu, Renjo La (5360m). Gradually hike on a snow-filled path to Renjo La’s summit (5360M), offering captivating views of Cho Oyu (8188m), Everest (8848m), and the Rolwaling Himal range. Descend on the icy trail to reach small lakes like Angladumba Tsho, Relama Tsho, and Renjo Lake. Continue descending to the small village of Lunden for an overnight stay.
Trek from Lungden to Namche [3450m] 6-7 hours
Mount Everest - After breakfast, begin the trek to Namche. Today’s walk is relaxed on an easier trail, allowing enjoyment of the surrounding landscapes. Distant views of Everest and other mountains can be seen. Relish the natural beauty and arrive at Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay in Namche.
Trek from Namche to Lukla 6-7 hours
Mount Everest - Conclude the trek by journeying from Namche to Lukla. Cross various villages, forests, and rivers via suspension bridges to reach Lukla. Upon arrival, rest and explore the Lukla market. Overnight stay in Lukla.
Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu 35-40 minutes.
