Thamel - Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, an airport representative will warmly welcome you. You will then be transferred to your designated hotel in a private tourist vehicle.

Journey to Besisahar

Besisahar, Lamjung - We embark on an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar, departing from the bus park. You will be picked up from your hotel in Kathmandu for the tour. The journey to Besisahar is marked by stunning waterfalls, rushing rivers, lush green forests, and diverse landscapes. Overnight accommodation is at a local homestay in Besisahar. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Trek to Ghalegaun

Ghale Gaun Playground - The path to Ghale Gaun is mostly a gentle uphill trek. As you leave Besisahar behind, you will be treated to breathtaking landscapes and some mountain views along the way. Lunch will be at a local restaurant featuring traditional foods. Upon arrival at Ghale Gaun, you will be warmly welcomed by the homestay community in their unique style. Spend some time exploring the local village and observing daily life, then hike up to the view tower for a spectacular Himalayan sunset. The entire village looks stunning from the tower. After sunset, return to the homestay. Enjoy a campfire and local music and instruments. After dinner, participate in a cultural program featuring local Ghatu Dance, Krishna Charitra, and more. Overnight at Ghale Gaun homestay. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Return to Kathmandu

Thamel - After enjoying an authentic local breakfast, you will be bid farewell in a truly unique manner. We then take the same route back to Kathmandu.

Ghale Gaun is a tranquil and picturesque tourist spot located at an altitude of 2,100 meters. The area is inhabited by the Gurung community, known for their exceptional generosity and hospitality. It serves as a model village for promoting unique village tourism through community-based hospitality. All the food provided during your stay is genuinely organic and fresh.

The Gurung people have their own distinct culture, traditions, attire, and language, which they observe during life events such as births, weddings, and funerals. These occasions feature traditional cultural folk dances like Jhyaure, Serka, Dohari, Gantu, and Ghandu, performed with various musical instruments and dancers in traditional costumes.
