The Ghorepani and Poon Hill Panorama trek begins in Pokhara, a renowned tourist destination in the Himalayas, nestled at the base of the Annapurna range with its beautiful Lake Phewa. The trek starts in a warm area and ascends into the mid-hills and alpine regions, passing through serene forests of rhododendron, oak, and magnolia trees, surrounded by the towering snow-capped peaks of Annapurna-I (8,091 meters, the world’s 10th highest), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 meters, the 7th highest), and Mt. Manaslu (8,163 meters, the 8th highest), along with the Barah Shikar, Gangapurna, Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, and the majestic Machhapuchhre, also known as The Fish Tail Peak.
