7 UNESCO Heritage Sites Tour with Shankar and Ravi - Our tour guide Shankar and driver Ravi are absolutely the best! We have been on many tours around the world and this is by far the most informative culturally and spiritually. Shankar has an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of Nepal as well as world religions. He is not only a guide, but a teacher to those wanting to learn more than the surface of things. Because we toured in June, there was rain, but this only enhanced the experience. Ravi is an extremely skilled driver, which is a must for this region with rain. Both Shankar and Ravi accommodated our style of travel to learn, eat and experience from the local perspective. If you book this tour, you have to request both Shankar and Ravi. The holy sites and durbars are absolutely stunning in craftsmanship, artistry, and history. Shankar’s knowledge and passion for Nepal truly brought history to life. Thank you Shankar and Ravi!!! Namaste!

Great tour ! - We had the 7 Unesco Tour with Shankar as a guide and Ravi as a driver. This was the perfect way to see many things in a single day, allowing us to start our trip in Nepal with great knowledge about history, culture and traditions. It would have taken 2 or 3 days instead of 1 without them. The whole Breakfree Adventures team has been both very friendly and professional. We enjoyed it !

Two intensive days in Kathmandu - We personalized our tour with Breakfree and had two days including sunrise to see Everest (couldn’t quite see Everest with the clouds but still beautiful and worth it), the seven UNESCO sites and a some walking. Kathmandu is a vibrant, beautiful city. Our guide and driver, Shankar and Ravi, made it wonderful! Shankar was a wealth of information on history and culture. Ravi was very attentive to our comfort. We saw so much of Kathmandu in two days and can’t wait to return!

A great day in Kathmandu with Shankar! - We had an amazing day with our guide, Shankar. Seriously ask for him by name. He wove a story of Nepalese history, Hinduism, and Buddhism that created a beautiful understanding of the culture. He was both the consummate host and a professional historian. This trip includes all 7 UNESCO sites. It is a long day so plan accordingly with sunscreen and water. Our feeling was Nepal is a once in a lifetime experience so see as much as you can with someone as knowledgeable as Shankar!
