Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to the Hotel

Kathmandu - Upon arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, the team will warmly welcome you and ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel. After checking in, you will meet your guide, who will accompany you throughout your journey, and receive a brief overview of the exciting adventures ahead. You can then choose to explore the local area or relax, ensuring a pleasant start to your journey.

Full Day Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley

Swayambhunath Temple - After breakfast, around 9 am, the guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel for a tour of the famous UNESCO World Heritage sites in the valley. Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple due to the monkeys in the area, is revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. This temple offers cultural and religious insights, as well as art, architecture, and a stunning view of the Kathmandu Valley from its hilltop. The Swayambhunath Stupa is marked by the eyes of Lord Buddha, symbolizing peace and knowledge.

Pashupatinath Temple - The renowned Hindu temple Pashupatinath is considered one of the holiest and oldest Hindu temples in the world. Located 5 km east of the city center on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River, the Pashupatinath area is adorned with various ornaments dedicated to Lord Shiva. In accordance with Hindu culture, cremations are conducted by the riverbank in this area.

Boudhha - Bouddhanath is the oldest and largest stupa in the valley, built during the Licchhavi dynasty in the 5th century, approximately 2500 years ago. Originally named ‘Khasa,’ it was later renamed Bouddhanath by the government. Many Buddhist pilgrims and monks from Tibet and other regions visit the stupa, spinning prayer wheels as they go.

Patan Durbar Square - Patan Durbar Square is located in the center of Lalitpur city. The main attraction is the ancient royal palace, where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur once resided. The area is rich with temples and idols, and visitors can explore the Newari lifestyle, food, and culture, as well as museums housing historically significant artifacts.

Sightseeing of Bhaktapur and Visit Namobuddha

Bhaktapur Durbar Square - After breakfast, you will drive to Bhaktapur for a tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, followed by a drive to Namobuddha. Namobuddha is a renowned Buddhist pilgrimage site located 40 km southeast of Kathmandu Valley in the Kavre district. You will spend the night at a hotel in Namobuddha.

A Sunrise Adventure in Nagarkot then Hiking or Drive to Changunarayan

Nagarkot - Rise early to witness the magical sunrise from Nagarkot’s hilltop, or opt for a later start. Nagarkot offers a front-row seat to this celestial event and invites exploration of local culture. Telkot Nagarkot Road - After the sunrise adventure, embark on a short but rewarding hike from Telkot to the historic Changunarayan Temple. If hiking isn’t preferred, a vehicle is available for a comfortable ride to the temple.
Hiking Starting Point: Telkot

Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park - After an early breakfast, drive to the entrance of Shivapuri National Park to begin the hike to Shivapuri Hill.
Shivapuri Hilltop, at 2732 meters above sea level, offers a trail ascending through lush forests with panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. Enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic spot before returning to the hotel in the afternoon.

Farewell with Gratitude

TIA - On the final day of the journey, bid farewell with warmth. After breakfast, or according to your departure schedule, a transfer to the airport will be arranged.
