Pashupatinath Temple is a sanctuary for numerous Hindu Sadhus from across the globe. These holy men, often seen with long dreadlocks, meditate by the Bagmati River and occasionally smoke marijuana, as it is believed that Lord Shiva enjoyed marijuana in his abode, Kailash. Sadhus at Pashupatinath often emulate Lord Shiva.
