Wonderful hiking experience in Langtang National Park - We had a seven day hike in the Langtang valley with Unique Path. They also arranged pickup from the airport in Kathmandu and for departure. The day before the hike we met with the managing director and our guide to go through details for the trip. Everything was well planned and organized before hand which felt reassuring and made us relax from the start. Our guide, Ishwor, and porter, Ramesh, were a good team who knew each other well and worked well together. Together they made the hike a pleasant and smooth experience for us, including getting us to the top of Tserko Ri - which was one of the toughest things we have done and a great achievement for us! Ishwor, in addition to having good knowledge of the trail, the nature and wildlife, is a very friendly and easy going guy, who makes an exceptionally good egg curry! He went to great lengths to make sure we got the best at every turn, quickly learning our preferences. He made adjustments in the route along the way in accordance with our pace and wishes. He was exceptionally mindful of my fear of cows, walking between me and every cow we encountered along the way! Ramesh had the dubious honor of carrying all our belongings all the way to Kyanjin Gomba and back (and my husbands daypack to the top of Tserko Ri) which he did with surprising ease and good humor, and no sign of exhaustion whatsoever. He too is very friendly, attentive and service minded. We stayed in teahouses and simple hotels along our route, huddled together around an oven, always with a pot of water on top, during the afternoon, and had many servings of tasty chapati omelet and dal baht along the way, not to mention numerous cups of ginger lemon honey tea (provided they had fresh lemons, Ishwor always checked). The menu was mostly the same everywhere and also included pancakes, pasta, soup and rice dishes. The rooms were not heated and we were very grateful for our all season sleeping bags. No fancy hotels or restaurants anywhere here - and that’s an important part of the unique experience! Summed up we had a once in a lifetime trip - amazing landscape, views, weather, encounters and people all the way - and it wouldn’t have been the same without Ishwor and Ramesh 🙏 We can safely recommend Unique Path to everyone who wants to go hiking in Nepal. Not only do you get a carefree and well organized trip, but also insight into the nature, culture and everyday life of Nepal through your guide and porter.

Lang Tang adventure - Just returned from a fantastic trek organized by Babu. Very well organized from collection at the airport to our hotel and then onto the start of our trek by jeep. We were a small group of 3 so we're accompanied by one guide (Suresh) backed up by Ramesh and Duer. All were extremely helpful, kind people to enjoy the trek alongside. I've used this company previously for the Manaslu circuit around 12 years previously and would highly recommend to anyone looking for for a reputable company to organize your next trek in the Himalayas.

Great trip to the Langtang Valley - Unique Path was recommended by a friend of mine who used them for 3 different trekkings. During the booking process Babu was very helpful, responsive and flexible. He also provided good advice to prepare for our trekking. Our guide (Suresh) and porters (Romesh and Khanal) during the trip were great. Friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. They easily accommodated some changes that we requested in the schedule during the trip and they booked excellent tea houses to stay in. We had a wonderful trip with these guys and I would definitely recommend them!

Langtang highlands+Gosaikunda lakes - Just came back from my 6th trekking holiday in Nepal. This time wondered around Langtang (but off the beaten trek). As good, exciting and rewarding as ever! Not mentioning muscle pain, of course. Except for the 1st time 20 years ago, all hikes were arranged by Unique Path. Babu, a reliable and professional tour operator, makes planning and preparation a simple and straightforward task. Dambar - a patriarch of Nepal trekking - makes sure that your days are rewarding, and nights are as comfortable as it can be. His exceptional local knowledge and flexible approach to planning allows to squeeze most experience in your time out there. I do not hesitate to recommend Unique Path to anyone who is considering trekking in Nepal.

Mistake - For the last 8 years I trek in Nepal each year with Unique Path Trekking and Expedition (P.) Ltd This year in April it was the Langtang trek with assent to the Yala Peak. It was well organised and I enjoyed every moment travelling there. Very beautiful part of the trek goes along the Langtang Khola river running through rhododendron forests and in some places the trail is so close to the river that you may even take a bath in cold transparent water. The way to the Yala Summit from the base camp is rather difficult but the view would be the award for the efforts. I can’t attach the video of myself with panoramic view shot from the summit, but I place some photos. I was so tired that I wanted to thank Yala Peak but shouted “Thank you Chulu” not Yala. Of course I corrected the mistake. But maybe it’s the sign for the next year to summit the Chulu peak.

Beautiful Views Worth the Challenge - Did a trek into Langtang Valley and Gosaikunda Lake but had to change plans halfway through due to weather and a sprained ankle. Dambar, our guide, was very helpful in suggesting a worthwhile partial trek on the Tamang Heritage Trek to replace the Gosaikunda Lake. He was also fantastic in pacing himself to the weakest link (me) and helping me get down Kyanjin-Ri efficiently through a far less intimidating “yak trail”. As a result, despite being an inexperienced trekker, I really enjoyed myself! Babu was also very helpful and flexible when I had to make last-minute changes due to weather issues.
