Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and Preparation Day (B)
Kathmandu Durbar Square - After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Kathmandu, which includes visits to four UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Kathmandu Valley.
Pashupatinath: This temple is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus worldwide. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located where cremations take place on the banks of the Bagmati River.
Boudhanath Stupa: Known as one of the largest stupas in Asia, it is a revered Buddhist pilgrimage site and a popular tourist destination in the valley, surrounded by over 50 Tibetan gompas or monasteries.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: This area houses the palaces of the ancient kings who once ruled the Kathmandu Kingdom.
Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple): Situated in the heart of the valley, it is another renowned tourist attraction and sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site, also known as the Monkey Temple among visitors.
Drive from Kathmandu to Machakhola (869m) 8-9 hours (B/L/D)
Manaslu - After breakfast, you’ll travel by private jeep to Machakhola, a journey of approximately 8-9 hours. Along the way, enjoy the stunning landscapes, the Trishuli and Maryasangadi rivers, the Ganesh Himal ranges, and traditional Nepali villages and their lifestyles. Upon reaching Machakhola, explore the local area and rest at teahouses.
Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1340m) 7-8 hours (B/L/D)
Manaslu - The next morning, after taking in the breathtaking view of Northeast Ganesh Himal, continue the trek to Jagat. The trail gradually ascends to Khorlabesi, offering another splendid view of Ganesh Himal. At Yaru Phat, witness a stunning waterfall. The trek continues on a rock and stone-paved path. Just before reaching Jagat, cross a bridge made of rock. From Jagat, enjoy magnificent views of Sringi Himal.

Trek from Deng to Namrung (2630m) 6-7 hours (B/L/D)
Mount Manaslu - The trail from Deng to Ghap features a mix of uphill, downhill, and easy trekking paths. From Deng, you’ll first reach Ghap, then trek through dense pine and rhododendron forests to arrive at Namrung for the night. The captivating views of the snow-capped Shringi Himal and Ganesh Himal make today’s journey truly remarkable.

Acclimatization Day at Sama Gaon (3520m) (B/L/D)
Mount Manaslu - Today is a rest day, allowing for a more relaxed pace and energy conservation for the Manaslu Circuit. Spending an extra day in Sama Gaon (3520m) is always rewarding. You can choose to hike up to Manaslu Base Camp (4400m) or visit the beautiful Birendra Tal. Alternatively, you can simply relax at the camp.
Trek from Sama Gaon to Samdo (3875m) 4-5 hours (B/L/D)
Manaslu - Today, embark on a steep uphill trail to Kyonggma Kharka, where you’ll find stone huts and long Mani walls. Samdo offers breathtaking views of Naike and Pangboche peaks. Explore the Taka Chouling Gompa in Samdo.
Trek from Samdo to Dharamsala (Larkya Phedi) (4460m) 4-5 Hours (B/L/D)
Manaslu - After breakfast in Samdo, pass through the seasonal Tibetan market known as Larke Bazaar and descend to the Budi Gandaki River. Cross the wooden bridge and begin the ascent, crossing two streams while admiring the Larkya Glacier. Continue around the Salka Khola valley and climb to Dharamsala, also known as Larke Phedi. Along the way, you’ll encounter many traditional monasteries.
Trek from Dharmasala to Bimthang (3590m) via Larkya La Pass (5160m) 8-9 hours (B/L/D)
Manaslu - Today, tackle the challenging trekking route through the moraine path. Witness the Larkya Glacier along the way. The spectacular views of Kanguru, Annapurna II, Himlung, Cheo Himal, Gyaji Kang, Larkya Peak, Namjung Himal, and Ranta Chuli make today’s journey extraordinary. After crossing Larkya La Pass, the trail descends steeply through grassy moraine. Exercise caution in this rockfall area.
Trek from Bimthang to Dharapani (1963m) 6-7 hours (B/L/D)
Mount Manaslu - Begin the descent to Hampuk, a rock shelter cave, then continue to Yak Kharka. Trek through the Gurung village of Gho and proceed to Tilije before finally reaching Dharapani.
Drive from Dharapani to Kathmandu 8-9 hours (B/L/D)
Besisahar, Lamjung - After breakfast, travel to Besisahar by local jeep, then transfer to a private jeep for the journey back to Kathmandu. Relax in your hotel room or shop for souvenirs for family and friends. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at an authentic Nepalese restaurant with a cultural performance.

The unique trails followed in this journey also showcase true Tibetan and Nubri lifestyles. The journey includes a visit to the Manaslu Base Camp and Larkya La Pass (5160m). The primary allure of this trek are the stunning views of Mt. Manaslu (8163m) and the Manaslu Conservation Area.
The Manaslu Trek spans over 17 days, kicking off from Kathmandu. Day one is dedicated to exploring the historical city of Kathmandu and making preparations for the trek, including acquiring the necessary permits for entering the Manaslu Conservation Area. The journey officially starts with a drive to Soti Khola, followed by a trek heading north towards Bihi, with a layover at Philim. The route then diverts westward, passing the Lho, Sho, and Sama Gaon villages, followed by a visit to the Manaslu Base Camp and Birendra Lake. The final leg involves crossing the Larkya La Pass (5160m) and descending along the Marshyangdi River.
