Day 2: Continue the trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot (2,163m).

Exploring the suburbs of the Kathmandu Valley is perfect for those with limited time for trekking but a strong desire to enjoy Himalayan views on foot. There are multiple routes to complete the loop, but the most popular is Sundarijal-Chisapani-Nagarkot-Chagunarayan. Transportation by bus or car will take you to Sundarijal, a charming village at the northern end of the valley. The journey begins with a challenging uphill climb, ascending 900 meters via Mulkharka to Borlang Bhajyang. After a few more hours of walking, you will arrive at Chisapani, situated atop a ridge at the edge of Shivapuri National Park, where numerous lodges offer accommodation and dining. Although the Himalayas are distant from this location, on a clear day, the ranges from Gaurishankar to Manasalu are visible from the same spot.
