A life change expérience - This summer, I did the Annapurna Circuit with this agency during the monsoon season, and it was truly one of the most meaningful and life-changing experiences of my life. I want to especially highlight the professionalism, kindness, and dedication of the entire team. Trekking during the monsoon involves real risks, and the Annapurna Circuit, like any high-altitude trek, requires respect, awareness, and caution. Landslice areas requires attention. The team handled these challenges with great expertise. Personally, I was not as physically prepared as I had imagined, and some days my pace was very slow. Despite this, Thal, my guide never gave up on me. He was much more than a guide: he was a coach and a constant source of encouragement. He stayed by my side, supported me mentally and physically, and always made sure I felt safe. The team’s communication was excellent, their organization reliable, and their hospitality and benevolence genuine. They helped us manage the risks related to altitude, weather conditions, and potential landslides with professionalism and calm. This trek is feasible, but it requires good physical and mental preparation, especially during the monsoon season, and a clear understanding of the mountain’s risks. In return, the landscapes are simply spectacular and unforgettable. I highly recommend this agency for the quality of their services, their strong human values, and the care they give to each trekker. I am deeply grateful for this extraordinary experience.

The entire trip went perfectly from start to finish! - Before leaving for Nepal: Tej was incredibly reactive to our questions. He reassured us and gave excellent advice throughout the planning process. Upon arrival: Tej came to meet us personally at our hotel to welcome us, brief us on the trip, and give us some final tips. During the trek: Our guide, Ritika, took over and she was amazing! She took great care of us, answered all our questions, and even taught us some Nepali words. We learned so much about the local culture thanks to her. A big thank you as well to our porters, Nima and Sona! Back in Kathmandu: We met up with Tej again so he could check in on us and get our feedback on the experience. We have wonderful memories of this trip to Nepal. This is thanks to the adventure itself, but also thanks to Tej, Ritika and the all team, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. And it really was! :) Thank you again!

Experience of a lifetime! - My friends and I went on a trip a week ago, completing the Annapurna Circuit with our brilliant guide Laxman, and lovely porters Ramesh, Nigmar and Nimal. From the organisation weeks ago, Tej was the best at communicating and organising so the whole trip was a breeze. Moving from the airport, to accomodation, to the start of the trek was seamless, and Laxman was a fantastic guide, I’d really recommend him. He was great at understanding our pace, making sure we were okay, and checking in on us. He organised, along with the porters our accomodation and food, meaning all we had to do was focus on the hike. If you can get the same team we did, i couldn’t recommend them more. It’s a great trip, with a great company.

Best trip thanks to the best team - Just completed the Annapurna Circuit trek with a group of friends thanks to Nepal Alternative Treks! We were lucky enough to have Laxman as our guide - he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Laxman and our awesome porters, Nigmar, Nimal, and Ramesh (thank you for all your hard work!) made our trek and it was so great getting to know them over the course of the trip. Highly recommend the team we had and many thanks to you all again!!!

BEST GUIDE IN NEPAL!!!!!! - I completed the Annapurna circuit with 5 of my friends in October! Laxman was our guide throughout the whole trek and we couldn’t have asked for better!! Kind, considerate, very knowledgeable and so friendly! Understanding when we needed help and making the trek one of the most incredible experiences I have had!!! Similar the three porters that’s joined us Nigmar, Nimal and Ramesh were so friendly and helpful and very fun to be around! Could not recommend this company and especially the people that we had on our trek more!!! Very organised, friendly and fun!!!!!! Thankyou!!!!

Annapurna Circuit Trek with Nepal Alternative Treks & Expeditions - First of all I would like to personally thank Thal (our guide) and Raju (our porter) for making this trek beyond memorable. My best friend and I decided we wanted to do the Annapurna Circuit Trek. As two female travelers, the thought of embarking on such a journey with males could have been daunting. However, Thal’s professionalism and genuine care combined with Raju’s kindness and tireless effort, quickly put us at ease. Not only did they ensure our safety and comfort throughout, but they also added so much joy and encouragement to the experience. I would highly recommend Nepal Alternative Treks & Expeditions to anyone. I can say with confidence we got more than our value for money. The accommodation was clean, we had our own room to share with each other and up until high camp we had an en suite bathroom. This was something we did not expect at such remote locations. I can honestly not think of anything they could do better. I look forward to doing another trek with them again. Once again, a heartfelt thank you from Sabine and I for giving us such an incredible experience!

Ram is the Guide to be - I had the most incredible 12-day trek with Nepal Alternative Trek, thanks to my amazing guide, Ram. Despite the odds—altitude sickness, freezing winter conditions, and grueling ascents—Ram’s positivity and jolly personality kept me going. His unwavering encouragement and infectious energy made the journey not just possible but thoroughly enjoyable. If you love dancing and good vibes along the trail, Ram is the guide you need. We clicked instantly, and I can’t wait for my next adventure with him—Manaslu, here we come!

First trek was an amazing experience! - This was first time in Nepal and my first trek. Our guide Nauser and two porters Ram and Raju made this experience super smooth and enjoyable. Our guide was super knowledgeable and took great care of us. Tej had a great plan for our trek and was extremely accommodating to anything along the way. Would 100% work with them again.

Trekking Annapurna Circuit (December 2024) - Our Annapurna Circuit trek with Nepal Alternative Treks was excellent. The scenery was stunning, and the experience was incredibly rewarding. Thanks to the well-organized trip provided by Nepal Alternative Treks, we were able to experience many aspects of the local culture along with the natural beauty of the area. Our guide, Nauser, was knowledgeable, professional, and supportive. He ensured our safety and provided valuable insights into the region. Our porters, Raju and Ram, were incredibly helpful and positive, adding to the overall positive experience. They were vital to our success and comfort on the trail. They are all stand-outs! Wonderful trekking with professional and friendly guide and porter - Fantastic trekking, first of all because of the beautiful surroundings and beautiful views. In addition, guide Sanjay and porter Surya have completed this trek for us. Guide Sanjay has thought along with us enormously and provided customization in the route, allowing the flexibility we needed. Porter Surya then ran the longer and more challenging stages without any problems, for which respect. In addition, Sanjay has made efforts to arrange comfortable guesthouse and rooms for us and has made efforts to ensure that we lacked nothing. His knowledge of the environment and culture were of added value and both Sanjay and Surya were nice company during the trekking, both very friendly and professional!
