A Private driver is the way to go for the Sri Lanka 8 day tour. - Lalith Perera was our driver on our 8 Day tour of Sri Lanka. Lalith has been a tour guide driver for many years and really knows the country, the venders, and the attractions well. He gave us good advice on what was the best way to experience the highlights of our itinerary. He introduced us to uniquely Sri Lanka experiences like eating curd from water buffalo. It was tasty! And who knew how much better king coconut juice tasted than regular conconut? Lalith was very knowledgeable and easy to be with for the eight days. If you tell him your priorities on the trip, he will arrange it. For example, we wanted to spend extra time in Galle and take the Ella train, and we did.

Great way to see Sri Lanka in a week. - Night “Splendour” Tour of Sri Lanka – Review We booked our 7-night Splendour Tour of Sri Lanka through TourRadar, with Beauty Lanka as the local operator, and overall it was a fantastic experience. The standout of our trip was our driver, Kumara. He was exceptional—patient, enthusiastic, and incredibly informative. Nothing was too much trouble, and his relaxed, accommodating nature really made the trip. He genuinely elevated the entire experience. The itinerary was packed and covered a wide variety of destinations. We explored the south of Sri Lanka and experienced an impressive mix—mountains, lakes, Sigiriya (Lion Rock), safaris, Ayurvedic massages, scenic train journeys, and even saw whales, turtles, and dolphins. It felt like we saw so much of the country in a short time. The hotels were solid 3-star accommodations. Rooms were spacious and clean, and while amenities varied slightly (some had pools and mini fridges, others didn’t), all properties were comfortable and well-rated. The staff across all hotels were consistently friendly and helpful, and the included cooked breakfasts were a great start to each day. The pace of the tour is quite fast, but that’s understandable given how much is included. That said, Kumara was very flexible—if we wanted to skip an activity or slow things down, he was more than happy to accommodate. Overall, this was a memorable and well-organised trip. I would absolutely return to explore more of Sri Lanka—especially if we could have Kumara as our driver again!

Fantastic 8 day Sri Lanka tour with exceptional guide - We had an incredible 8-day tour of Sri Lanka with Beauty Lanka Tours and couldn’t be happier with the experience. For a relatively short trip, the itinerary was excellent—well thought out, versatile, and gave us a fantastic mix of culture, scenery, and local experiences without ever feeling rushed. A special mention goes to our guide, Kumara, who truly made the trip memorable. His English was excellent, making communication easy from start to finish. He was extremely accommodating, patient, and always professional. Kumara is also a very capable and safe driver, which made traveling between destinations comfortable and stress-free. He went above and beyond by suggesting additional activities and great places to eat along the way, adding even more value to our trip. He also took care of our luggage throughout the journey, which was a thoughtful touch and meant we could just relax and enjoy the experience. The accommodation varied in standard, with some more upmarket than others, but everywhere we stayed was very neat and clean, and the staff were consistently warm and welcoming. Overall, we highly recommend Kumara and Beauty Lanka Tours to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Their service, attention to detail, and genuine care made this a truly unforgettable trip.

Highlights of SriLanka - This tour is ideal for a first time visit as you will be exploring the highlights of Sri Lanka. Kanishka was very knowledgeable on the history of the places I visited. I was a solo traveller and he drove me for the entirety of the trip in a private car (over 1200kms) during this trip. Be prepared to move often as you will be spending a lot of time on the road and staying in different hotels almost every night. You will experience different climates in different cities from extreme heat, rain to pleasant misty cool weather in the hill country. If you would like to spend more time in one location, let your tour guide and company know as soon as you decide. They are flexible and willing to customize your itinerary based on your interests. I personally wanted to spend more time in Ella and they were able to arrange it. Overall, I would recommend this tour if you are interested in learning about the history and culture of Sri Lanka. Just make sure to check the hotel reviews and details if you are picky about the accommodations as they can be underwhelming.

Holiday in Sri Lanka - Our trip had some preplanning hiccups with world events and air travel to the region. Our guide/driver was very helpful and accommodating. The accommodations that were booked were above average and the hospitality was top notch. Our guide/driver was a key to a successful holiday as he steered our group in the right direction to avoid being taken advantage of. The last day had a discrepancy with flight and attractions but our guide went above and beyond to get us to the airport.

Wonderful Beauty Lanka! - Beauty Lanka was an excellent company in every way. I booked a tour for 10 of us. Their communication with me was superb, answering every question within 24hrs. The cost was so low, we wondered if they were legit and what the hotels would be like. We were warmly greeted upon arrival, our tour guide was Nilantha and I just cannot say enough good things about him. Our hotels were clean, each had a pool. We felt safe the entire time. Our flight to Male was unexpectedly moved from 4:30pm to 7am so our sweet Nilantha drove thru the night to make sure we all arrived on time. It was the trip of a lifetime! Thank you so much Beauty Lanka!!

Interesting tour of srilanka in 8 days ! Feel like coming back - We had a beautiful tour of Sri Lanka with Indra, our guide and chauffeur. Indra speaks English well, he is patient , very experienced, know his country well, he is generous with his time, he is also a good listener and selected really interesting authentic activities following our request or our interests. We felt spoilt and our accomodation were very comfortable. I would recommend Indra to travellers who want to discover the best of Sri Lanka!
