Ramboda Waterfall - Ramboda Ella, the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka, is located near Pussellawa. Ramboda Falls has three sections. The middle section is visible from the A5 highway, just above the bridge. Although smaller than the other parts, you can view the top section from the main road, but not in its entirety. Climb up to see the top part of Ramboda Falls via a pathway just before the bridge. The climb may be challenging, but the breathtaking view of the top fall and surroundings is worth it.
Sita Temple - The Sita Amman Temple is visible on the way to the Hakgala Botanical Gardens. Its striking architecture is sure to catch your eye. Ancient statues of Rama and Sita are displayed on one side of the temple. The temple is a modern building adorned with paintings, statues, and pillars, all depicting the tale of Rama and Sita.
Divurumpola - Divurumpola Temple, revered by thousands, is the site where Sita performed her Agni Pariksha (test of chastity) for her husband Rama. For centuries, villagers have pledged their fidelity or taken oaths here, and in some courts, this agreement was binding. This sacred place has been respected and worshipped throughout the ages.

This powerful weapon was rendered ineffective by Lord Karthikeya’s presence, safeguarding Lord Rama.
Yala > Ussangoda > Galle
Ussangoda Beach - Ussangoda is a unique coastal area known for its lack of trees. Its serpentine rock contains toxic heavy metals, allowing only specific smaller plants to thrive. According to Ramayana legends, there are two explanations for Ussangoda’s barrenness. After meeting Sitadevi, Lord Hanuman provoked King Ravana and his army of Rakshasas, resulting in Hanuman’s tail being set on fire. Hanuman then torched parts of Ravana’s empire, including Ussangoda. Additionally, legend has it that Ussangoda was once an airport used by King Ravana for his Dandumonara peacock chariot before Hanuman destroyed the landing site.
Rumassala - Rumassala hill, located 3 km east of Galle, is a landmark of Unawatuna beach, featuring a picturesque white Buddhist dagoba on top. Rumassala rock is one of five Sri Lankan spots believed to originate from parts of Mount Dronagiri, which fell when Hanuman carried the Dronagiri back to Lanka to use its Sanjiwani herb to revive Lakhshmana and Rama. Rumassala is also said to have been Sita’s abode during her stay in Lanka.
